The old people versus young people narrative isn’t the least compelling thing they’ve come up with.

I find it interesting that right now there is basically a 7/7 split with the removal and two people are essentially double agents.

But it still kills me how some people know not to play the game hard early. The first HOH comp a lot of them literally said "I don't want to win" and then Riley just gunned it. Hisam will be a huge target soon as well because he's a physical beast and already wrapped up in strategy.

Early front runners IMO: Red, Cory, Mecole. Cory could be another Ian if he keeps going under the radar. Red is stronger than anyone thinks and Mecole is sitting back and chilling. She has the female, old and black support.

Have to say those confessionals where she was wearing the bikini top were hnnng. Hoping that America can step up into the eye candy role because she's gorgeous.

Reilly made the black women insecure because she got that caboose on her. Only saw it like once on television. Thank god for reddit

Still can't believe Hisam has no idea his game is essentially over now in Week Two.

This whole Netherverse thing is just stupid IMO. Just another way to give people safety.

One other thing I'm wondering is deaf guy doing that veto challenge - how does he hear the words? Unless he's not 100% deaf and can partially hear or has a video screen we can't see. Can't tell if he has hearing aids in because now they make them so invisible.

This is the exact requirement for a good twist.

I heard somewhere he's got 0% in one ear and like 30-40% in the other. Which actually doesn't seem bad, but don't forget that might go along with having a narrow range of frequencies he can pick up, etc. I'd guess with a challenge like this they test with him ahead of time and make sure they're pumping out audio he can actually hear clearly.

Not super dialled in but it seems very kind of Felishia to burn her HoH on Hisam.

It’s kind of old school. You take out someone because of their social faux pas. There’s almost no strategic reason for them to evict the dude.

I think it's mostly just a case where people are realizing he's a toxic douche and he's literally not good for anybody's game, is liable to flip on you at the drop of a hat, etc. There have been a few times where a useful alliance member gets burned because nobody wants to deal with them.

The last person Hisam or anyone would use their HoH on is Felishia.

The sides were clearly drawn. And it’s hard to believe the house won’t break down the same when Hisam leaves.

He just alienated pretty much everyone and he was totally transparent trying to scramble back. That exchange with America was lol terrible.

Not a big surprise that a doctor is not great in social situations. Plus he's already established himself as a comp beast. Best just to get him out.

That whole thing he does where he asks alliance members about what their plan is, then just goes ahead and answers his own question without letting them respond, would have me turning on him even if he was my rock-solid F2 or something.

Strategy aside. It has to be so satisfying to really screw over a guy you really dont like. Everyone seemed to be having a ball backdooring this guy

This move to evict Hisam was like if two groups of chess pieces were fighting...one group lost their queen, Riley, though no desire of their own. Then, the opposing side promptly and voluntarily sacrificed their own queen in subsequent moves. I understand being annoyed by Hisam's attempts to control everyone in the alliance, but he was so obvious and not good at it. He was playing with his hands face up. And the other side of the house was going to target him at first available opportunity. Why do their dirty work? I guess this is the luxury of being so non-threatening everyone will continue to ignore you in subsequent weeks. Cirie, Izzy, and Felicia can just get rid of people who annoy them, and they are perceived as so unlikely to win challenges the next HOH will just pat them on the head and shoot at someone else.

I mean there's a human factor to the game, which is a big part of why we watch. If everybody just sits there all summer calculating the most +EV move for their alliance and does everything robotically, how good of a show is it? It's interesting to have someone be such a dick that the entire house turns against them, or when someone is batshit crazy and unpredictable and keeps switching alliances every week. Of course it's probably bad gameplay for the Professors to eat their own, but it was pretty good TV to see Hisam get backdoored...

...except for the part where it was painfully obvious that the BB producers gave everyone a nudge to have a bunch of BS conversations about maybe changing their mind, just because they need to fill an hour and it can't be that cut and dried who's going home. I feel like they did the same thing with Reilly's eviction last week.

If we are going to complain about the producers let's not ignore the elephant in the room. The juvenile multiverse nonsense is insufferable. Is CBS trying to shift the market to the Nickelodeon crowd with the slimings and the pretend scariness? I feel like with all the lame challenges and filler, I end up fast forwarding through most of the episode.

On the human element, anyone else note how pissed off Riley and Blue were at being straight forwardly told they were going to be nominated for eviction? Almost as if they'd rather be lied to. I find that interesting.

I'm not a bot, but I continue to think it was dumb for Hisam's own alliance to vote him out, and if you're Cam and Red and you are more concerned about Izzy than Cirie...also dumb. If you're hella concerned about Cirie and not voicing it in order to throw off America and the producers...that could be smart.

I like the Chillbillies, but I would have thought Jag and Blue would be people they should try to stay aligned with and keep around as alternate targets to themselves. I think old ladies and their cronies are the enemy of all four of those players so they should probably stick together instead of picking each other off, but whatever.

Oh I'm with ya on this. I mean, BB has been pure unadulterated cheese from the beginning, but this is a particularly lame season. It almost feels like with the writer's strike they gave Julie a chance to write the themes for this season herself, and this is the best she could come up with.

The old alliance was on shaky ground with Hisam. Without him, maybe they can float for awhile but they’re at a huge disadvantage.

Year after year we see the young fit, people dominate the competitions and win most of the HoHs.

It makes it worse that The olds wasted their first brush with power on a member of their own alliance as some sort of call to justice. And it seemed even they kind of realized that by the end of Hisam’s week on the block.
