Paul just told Jason he's using one of them (couples) as a pawn if he wins HOH like I thought. At same time Mark and Dom discussing if Paul would do something crazy because he's not telling them his plan. He literally gained all his allies because of Cody's move and he's now pulling a Cody.

I'm sure Paul will tell someone like Christmas the plan and it'll get shutdown because it's not as fool proof as he thinks

It's basically the only thing that isn't foolproof. And once he tells Xmas she won't trust him for even thinking of putting someone from their "team" up. She is all about the team thing. I love how Paul has terrible talk or says something that will only hurt his game down the line and looks at the camera and smiles and gives a wink like he's the best player of all time and just made an amazing move.

Paul might be thinking that if he puts up Rave and Matt, he could get anyone in the house to use the veto (outside of jess /Cody), but that will backfire every time. Major misstep trusting WN and Alex so much, esp when he knows they have 7 votes

He seems to forget that people he trusts on the other side all made deals with Cody

Those 2 are even 3 of Kevin's top 3 targets. Even if everyone in the house would take her off and he knew with 100% certainty, Jess or Cody could get picked and win. With them both up there's nothing he could do. Plus they're both in his alliance. The same people who would use the veto on Raven if she was a pawn would also use it on Ramses if Paul nominated Ramses and Josh.
Maybe he thinks he can convince Ramses to nominate himself thinking even if all else fails we'll just evict Ramses but even that wouldn't work. If Ramses won veto as the 3rd nom Paul wouldn't be able to name a replacement nominee leaving Paul's 2 pawns up.

Things may change when Paul expects a 9-3 vote and gets a 7-5

That's a good point. I think you're right and that would change things. I actually want Paul as HOH now just to see how aggressively bad he plays trying to figure out who the 2 were. I wonder if Paul doesn't win HOH if he is stupid enough to try for HOH week 3 when he's not safe week 4. Maybe that's why he's going so aggressively for it this week.

I love the Josh/Xmas dynamic. It's very Vanessa/Steve to me. Their relationship only, not how good they are at the game obviously.

Josh is the only one who knows what the vote count will be. Let that sink in for a while.

Now Jody want to take out Matt and Alex and work with Paul. This is good stuff.

Josh/Jason talk about voting Xmas out. Josh agrees as planned. Jason leaves and Josh alone in room starts saying **** so things could get interesting.

Something I just read on reddit actually made a ton of sense. When Josh talked to Jason and Alex he keeps saying no matter what we have to stick together. You me Jason/Alex (depending on which convo) and Kevin. He never mentions Jillian. The only thing that makes me have the smallest amount of doubt is how he reacted when Jason left. He just could've been like damn I might be screwed after votes with my new alliance.

This is the most I've ever cared about the first vote and it's aggravating me that I don't know what's gonna happen.

At this moment I would bet at even money Christmas is staying but not at like -130. This was part of their plan but I still have doubts.
Not an actual offer just saying what my thoughts are.

I'd be with you more if he didn't tell Paul and Xmas he was going to do exactly this earlier today even after the outsiders made their group official yesterday.
