You do realize the Steve alliance was pretty much fake? Its Vanessa/Austin/Jiz/Clay/Shelli/(Audrey) based on conversations last night Vanessa/Shelli/Clay seem really close. Plus she has Austin and the twins. Losing Steve not ideal but I still think shes in a great spot either way.

Yes, Steve was never part of the inner Sixth Sense alliance (which counts the twins as two). Like Audrey he's just an extra person they're stringing along to maintain a majority in the house. He's almost expendable at this point.

Says who it was fake? Which one SOS or Freaks and Geeks or both? Austin and Liz seem to honor freaks and geeks and don't understand why Vanessa doesn't want to protect Steve. So that one is not fake. And that's the only one that needs to matter to show she's f'ing him over without even caring or even mentioning it to anyone. They even tried to integrate Steve into 6th sense with Shelli and Clay(which shows freaks and geeks saw him as a true ally) but Shelli and Clay weren't ready for that and said let's just keep him someone we work with for now. If it was fake why didn't Vanessa tell Shelli and Clay she made a fake alliance in case it got exposed she'd want to make sure Shelli and Clay knew so it not look shady? Because it was real. Steve was an ally. Vanessa's game is to show people her word is her bond. How good would her word be if she f's this poor kid over by pretending to be his number 1 then throw him to the wolves before jury when there are still so many not in her alliance to go after?

She's in a great spot either way because she has a solid alliance. So good an alliance she doesn't care about letting one go but stupid and unnecessary when so many enemies to choose from still out there. More importantly very scummy especially being when it doesn't need to be done. And if Steve realizes he's been thrown under the bus by Vanessa he might(I HOPE HE DOES. But he won't because he's too nice a guy) blow up her whole game and she will be open season on Vanessa.

From what she knows of her alliances Selli and Clay had another allaince with Jackie/Jeff/John. Austin throwing comp he promised he would try to win. And Liz messing up by saying things she shouldn't almost exposing the alliance. Audrey tries to throw her under the bus with all girls alliance. So all these people do things for you to consider to not trusting letting go and you're ready to f over Steve? What did he do?

You happy now? Vanessa suspected they thought she was protecting Steve so she told them to throw him up.

Happier now. But he could he have gone home. And they talked about backdooring him if someone needed to be put up. How is that pulling a ruse for the rest of the house? It's worth risking him just so noone thinks he might have game talks or might be protected? Why didn't she say this before? How would she feel if she was thrown on the block this week for the same reason so it wouldn't look like she had an alliance with Shelli/Clay/Jiz/Austin? I bet she wouldn't feel it such a cute idea.

queen bee vanessa gave nerdy steve everything. all he had to do was remain 100% loyal and would've been fine for a deep run. these nerds aint loyal.

Plus she knows that Steve wouldn't go home. But the bottom line is Steve is expendable. Shelli and Clay "had no one to put up" except 3 or 4 people and of those 3 or 4 Steve was definitely the best choice. Johnny Mac is a better choice but at that point they were saying they couldn't put Johnny up.

Your love for Steve is borderline the same as Austin's love for Liz. I'm joking a little but you said earlier you hope Steve and Vanessa backdoor Austin soon but whenever anyone bring up Steve's name you act like it's the worst thing anyone can do.

I like Steve too but I can understand why people wouldn't mind losing him.

Disappointed in someone like Jason sure he doesn't power but even when he's safe I don't really seem him trying to build bonds. As a huge fan I figured he would even if he had to fake it.

I'd want to backdoor Austin because he's acting like a jackass and hurting the team so i wouldn't mind seeing them backdoor him in the end. Not right away but when it's time to start eliminating alliance members if/when they have to. I think you should choose people who deserve it/betrayed the alliance or f'd up to start sending home when noone else to send home but your alliance. I like Austin(i think) and just realize he's messed up emotionally but if he's the one messing up he would deserve to go out of the alliance members.

It is the worst thing to backdoor or evict Steve right now as he hasn't done anything that deserves such a knife in the back. Especially this early in the game. Knock him out before jury for doing nothing while there's many from the other camp to choose from? This game means alot more to him then all of them on top of it which makes it even uglier. I just think he's the most likeable person on the cast and he gets picked on and used as a toy to throw on the block and if he goes home oh well. It just feels people aren't treating him with the same respect they're treating each other. And he treats everyone of them with respect. He's not a bug so don't treat him like one. He's also your best player why not start trying to utilize that instead of throwing him under the bus for being good at the game. Team Vanessa alliance members screw up in all different ways and they all feel the need to protect each other and Steve plays the game right and he's the one expendable? Why? How do they come to that conclusion? Anyone of them would be pissed off if they got put on the block there(by their own alliance risking going home) but since it's Steve who cares right?

Btw, I might have liked Vanessa just as much or more earlier in the game(loved the move to go after james and jeff) but when she starts stuff like this i start to wonder.

I thought Jason was being paranoid thinking Steve was always up to something with his creeping around, but based on the last vote maybe he was right all along.

Like I said I like Steve too. I just think because you're rooting for him your judgment is clouded. He voted for Jeff and while no one knows he is still continuing to lie to Vanessa about it and he could have blew up her game if Jeff stayed because of it.

The problem with Steve is that he skulks around, is hard to read, and hasn't demonstrated an ability and/or willingness to win competitions. Not the most ideal person to have in an alliance.

Audrey just tried to tell Shelli/Clay that Steve leaves items of clothing around the house, just so he can use that as an excuse to go into other rooms to look for those items and have clandestine meetings with his alliances while looking for them. She is really losing her mind coming up with conspiracy theories left & right and lying all over the place. Shelli/Clay aren't buying any of it.

She just talks in circles and doesn't make any sense going from one paranoid theory to another.
