It was getting so uncomfortable that Bb had to switch feeds. Lmao. Knew she would be absolutely terrible in BB the moment she talked about her game theory every 2 seconds. Unbelievable as it sounds she might be worse than Garrett and Jean Robert lmao.

But in reality she's scarily close to walking out the door.

Not the way i expected her to fall on her face. I thought it would be because she acted more like Annie Duke. Not because she's so kind and sensitive that she "doesn't have the heart to watch people lie and bully each other like in high school"(paraphrased quote by her).
There's a small possibility that this could all be an act too,it's so over the top. I think it's legit though, a lot of people have a hard time adjusting to the bb house when it finally hits them that they have no where to go.

I never thought that Vanessa had much of a chance to win BB because I feel she has to worry about her "brand" outside of the house and can't be ruthless enough to ruin her image for what amounts to so little money. I don't follow her a lot but I have seen her all over my TV from commercials, sports illustrated etc. She has a lot going on besides poker. I'm actually shocked that no one recognize her in the house. I don't watch a lot of poker shows but when I watch sports I see her on commercials and poker clips a lot.

I like the two long haired bros alliance. They seem like they'll be very polarizing to the fan base.

I'm not sure if I'll continue to watch the show since the first two episodes sucked, but you guys watching the live stream should consider using spoiler tags IMO. I'm not interested in watching the stream and it will likely spoil some of the next episode with all the things you guys are saying.

Or.. maybe I should just avoid this thread. Maybe add to the title "contains spoilers" or something?

Comes up every year. Only way to enjoy this show is to follow what is really going on in the house. We don't use spoiler tags.

If you don't want spoilers you're just gonna have to avoid the thread.

I think she would have a great chance to win because i think there are alot of dumb people in the house. I believe she could be a leader and have the airheads follow her lead.

I don't think her brand would suffer unless she did something outrageous(racial slurs etc). But she's too smart for that. And obviously stuff like that could only hurt her game, not help. She's been on t.v. enough to watch what she says to not turn people off. In fact she is/can build he brand by being on this show. Whether she's evil Vanessa or nice Vanessa it would build her brand. As they say "no such thing as bad publicity". Also now that poker isn't on t.v as much she really needs shows like this to keep herself in the spotlight. She won't, but if she acted real sexual and wore very little clothing on the show she could really enhance her celebrity.

All that being said she has built a big hole already(can turn it around easy if she starts now). While she was crying saying she didn't want to be there, and going to bed early by herself, the rest of the house has been bonding and building alliances. She is alienating herself from the group. She should bang the nerd and he would be her loyal servant for eternity. He would go around the house and do whatever she needs done to make her stay in the house.

I missed most of today. Why is everyone saying poor Steve? And that Davon should apologize to him? I saw her say to johnny mack privately Steve's not fitting in and to be nice to him until he leaves because this experience is so important to him. Then i stopped watching. What did she do to him that she should apologize for?

Nice to see Vanessa starting to socialize. She beat Steve in arm wrestling(1 second to slam him lol) I think she is liked more now, but i wonder if she is playing enough game. Is she in an alliance yet? Seems now she's just happy to not feel like crying. Some of the group was questioning if she's lying about where she went to college. As a couple of them said she said miami and told one Duke. "must think we're dumb to tell us miami then wear a duke sweater". She probably went to both as it wouldn't make sense to lie about that.

I missed all the Audrey stuff too, but from the chat sounds like she's bat**** crazy.

Audrey is Devin on steroids, she has literally talked game to every single person in the house today. Some are catching on to her and she's about to be busted. Damn fun and hilarious.

Steve is the outcast of the house, he's REALLY socially awkward and people actually leave the room when he walks in (especially Davonne). Vanessa is pretty much invisible but the feeds were pretty much dominated by Audrey and her nonstop game talk. Vanessa tried to talk a bit of game to James but he was on to her and wouldn't tell her anything. The problem with her is that she's kinda standoffish and isn't really trying to bond with people so she's not really close to anyone. If you look at the twitter alliance link above there's 200 alliances and Vanessa isn't in any one of them.
This could be a good thing, with the way the game is going the house could implode any monent and she might be the last person standing. Don't like her chances though, she really isn't doing anything and doesn't seem to care.

From what little we've seen of her so far on the feeds, it's been the complete opposite.

oh and Austin has somehow figured out that Davonne's (Day) real life profession is a poker dealer and has been telling people. How he figured that out is unbelievable. There's people in chat that is saying that production told him but I doubt that very much. Day never told him anything and he just figured it out on his own, pretty incredible. It might have something to do with the way she was playing with chips but I'm not sure, I did not see it.

Lol Devin on steroids. She just formed another alliance with Vanessa(was Vanessa's idea). If Vanessa only knew not the right person to join with. She's so far behind because of her meltdown. Everyone's already joined forces while she was crying and going to bed early. Now she's starting to play game but noone is biting so far(except Audrey, but who knows if Audrey's for real) because she's out of the loop. I agree so far she seems the dumb one but i think it's just because her head was so far from game yesterday. As long as she doesn't get sent out quick, before she knows what's going on, i think she will catch on fast and be a force. Only thing that worries me is she keeps saying she won't lie in the game. That she will either tell you the truth or just let you know she can't say. Tough to win if you don't deceive anyone. She bluffs all the time in tournaments, start bluffing Vanessa!

I feel bad for Steve. He seems like a really good guy/quality person. Them shunning him makes it that much harder for him. It's like Vanessa said, that she feels like she's in high school, that Steve is trying so hard to fit in but being shunned by the cool kids(paraphrasing). I'm sure you know but for those that don't, part(most) of her meltdown was over that. Must suck for Steve's family and friends watching as well. I hope he turns it around.

Thanks for the info.

.
She graduated from Duke undergrad and attended law school at U of Miami (but, iirc, didn't finish there). So, she either thought that bringing up Duke and law school were bad for her image (made her seem too smart), so she skipped some details, or she just got a little sloppy with her story. (Bringing Duke gear into the house obviously dumb if she knew coming in that she was going to go with the Miami line).

Just like the DJ thing, it seems like she was trying to say things that are technically correct while not providing a full answer...

I like the girl from 'Rado

eta: And of course Jace is awesome but that goes without saying. Have not watched this show in years but I guess Rousso being on it has sucked me in. Don't think she will last long though.

Vanessa just played a memory game with Da'vonne and remembered a lot of words which will probable cause Da'Vonne to tell the house how smart she is. Kind of a dumb move but I may be looking too much into it.

It hasn't been mentioned ITT, but how does Da'vonne not recognize Vanessa? If I'm wrong and she does, I haven't heard any mention of it.

But like, how can you be a poker dealer and not know one of the most recognizable female poker players in the world?
