Jmac isn't too bad in comps, he's been close in a lot of them and won some vetos. So it would be more like 3-2 no?
|
its a double eviction which means it'll just be a quick crapshoot questions comp. so its 4-2
of course they don't know that, but they also have reason to think it'll be a mental comp since there have been many physical ones lately

DE could be a mental/days questions or before and after or something like that.

I wasn't counting James b/c I don't expect him to know the answers to question comp.

Actually if it's a mental comp, Megs isn't dead in the water. She came in second in the comic book veto 14 mins to Steve's 12 mins. She was also doing really great in the face morph veto as well losing only to Vanessa who did it in 2mins. She actually does ok in those mental comps.

Megs about to go talk to Vanessa to make some deals about throwing HOHs and keeping her safe. The stars are aligning for Vanessa to take a shot at the Austwins.

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm
its odd to me that james/meg are planning so much with what to say to vanessa to get her to put up john, but they aren't thinking at all about getting john and steve's votes. it seems like that would be easier to just make a f4 with them, where its actually in each of their best interests to do so
at least they'll be forced to do that after julia goes up, but if they were smart they would've done it sooner. worst case they get caught and then john has to go up by association and goes home

they can't really talk to Steve because Steve gives them nothing. Steve won't even tell his legit F2 his thoughts, why would he tell James/Meg anything? Scroll up a few posts to see what a typical conversation with Steve sounds like. Also James won't tell Steve anything because he already knows Steve scampers off and tells the other side everything so James and Megs don't trust him and won't tell him anything.

Meg to James: I feel good about my plan for you to put me up next week. Vanessa will buy it because she doesn't realize I only need 2 votes to stay.
Yes Meg, Vanessa has no idea how many votes would be needed to stay next week, you have outsmarted her once again!

Meg is so dumb and irrelevant in this game that it makes Steve and Jmac's decision to vote her out one of the worst in BB history if it happens

They don't need anything from steve, just his vote. They need to talk to him. They don't need any info back; they have a compelling argument already

Yep, Steve and JMac are idiots. They just said they can't flip the vote because Austin, Liz, James and Meg would team up

from their perspective, even giving them the benefit of the doubt with that argument, i cannot for the life of me understand how that 4some is any more likely or any more dangerous than a 4some with the austwins + james

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm
but what i actually think is that john wants to do it and steve doesn't. and john will obviously yield to steve because he'd need steves vote also
because from steve's perspective, he's confident in this final 3 with vanessa and john, and he doesn't want to ruin his relationship with both vanessa and the austwins over this. he's not being targeted by anyone next week
and he also ****ed over james and meg already, so i think its kind of a weight off his shoulders to be able to take another one of them out and only have james left to deal with, when from his POV james would still target vanessa over him
the problem is he's taking a very conservative approach, and he's prioritizing his chances of survival over the next 2 weeks instead of his chances of winning the game overall. he's taking this game very one week at a time, and its leading to him always playing it safe and not making any big moves. unfortunately for him, i think this is just like when frankie won the veto during the DE last season and could have used it on christine, but instead he acquiesced to what derrick/cody/caleb wanted, and then he was left stuck at the bottom

By asking for his vote to evict Julia out it essentially means it's an attack on the Austwins. That's a huge move and it would require him to scheme and actually start talking game with Jmac to also get his vote as well which he doesn't want to do. He doesn't want to be seen as being part of a plan to go against Austwins right now, which is why he didn't even bring it up to Vanessa. He's playing an extremely conservative game that it's really frustrating to talk to him. Hopefully they will talk more freely once the veto ceremony is over.

Good point. Why doesn't he just break and be like...I'll do whatever you think is best for us? Put it back on her. People are careful what they say to Vanessa because they know she uses it against them. Steve's best line would be to always put it back on her when she is pressing him about future plans. Just be like "I'm game for whatever you want."

And that's why he doesn't have a single close ally in the game. Even Johnny doesn't really know what he's up to most of the time. You have to share at least some of your ideas with people or else they won't trust you. The Sneaky Steve nickname is well earned.

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm
It's amazing that anything that has happened or ever will happen in this season's big brother is vanessa's fault. Julia to Liz "it's all good as long as i stay. But if i go home this week i will never forgive vanessa!" LOL! So let's get this straight juia. Vanessa was woken up from a sound sleep being begged to put you up from austin and liz when vanessa was gonna put up steve instead. If you leave this week it would be Steve's fault for not voting for you. Then next blame should be for liz and austin for talking vanessa into putting you up. And if you leave you will never forgive vanessa? Sums up the whole season in a nutshell.

it's to vanessa's credit. despite her flaws, she's playing a completely different game from the rest of the cast. and the cast isn't as dumb as bb16.
as for steve, what you guys are saying is correct that he needs to be open with john. he had so many opportunities to reach out to other people this season, but he could never separate himself fully from vanessa or 6S.
steve is smart to never tell vanessa anything though. despite the austwins as your opponent, you cannot be naive enough to believe that vanessa considers anyone truly an ally. she keeps saying "i'm all alone". she's telling you the truth, but she's spinning it as if she's the victim. you're the victim, and she's all alone because she is always gathering ammo to backstab you.
for john, steve, james and meg, being in a final 8 with an unbreakable trio and a superior strategist is a tough spot. steve is probably the only one of the four with the brains to figure out that they need to regroup. however, it's his personality and character that's holding him back. being in a final 4 with john (an evictee) and meg as your potential opponent in the final 2, is a much superior spot for steve.

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm
This would be the time for Meg, if she is the social player that some say she is, to convince Steve and Johnny to drop their past differences with her and James and create an alliance against the 3-headed monster which is being manipulated by a 4th. It could be an interesting week if that happens.
