I love how Vanessa's lie detector doesn't go off after Liz completely stalls when she asks the question about the alliance. The fact that she just took Liz at face value is incredulous.

lol really? I grew up a huge Raiders fan and went up to a guy at a hotel to get his autograph because everybody else was and had know idea it was Tim Brown. Vanessa isn't that famous IMO.

The way Day was talking pre season I figured she'd recognize her. She lied about her job b/c in her mind all dealers are good at poker. Not really sure how she came to that determination but whatever. It just depends at what level you follow stuff.

Everything about this is sad.

Not everyone who deals poker are in tune with what's happening in the poker world. To a lot of dealers it's just a job to them and it doesn't necessarily mean they have to love poker. There's some poker dealers in my casinos who absolutely hate what they do and I'll see them play at other casinos during their days off and they're the biggest donks ever. When Day gave her reasoning for why she had to hide the fact that she's a poker dealer, it was clear she was completely out to lunch.

In her pregame blurb on episode one, Day made a point of pimping that she was a poker dealer and a poker player. Did not come across as one of these dealers who hates her job. She seemed into it...which was why I was skeptical about everything she had claimed when she didn't know who Vanessa was. But apparently Vanessa's long face with the sad eyes is not that recognizable and I'm just being silly.

I've been a cash game online/live poker player for while now and I would not be able to name you the winners of the WSOP of the last 10 years. I would have every reason to know who the recognizable faces in poker are but I just don't. I'm not a fanboy and I don't necessarily see some of these poker pros as 'stars' that I have to follow.

Just because Day deals and plays poker doesn't mean she HAS to know who Vanessa Rousso is. Vanessa isn't even that famous. The only reason I even know who Vanessa is, is partly because of 2+2 and also when I first started playing online poker I was obsessed with it and had to read and watch everything and from watching sports and seeing her in commercials. Day doesn't strike me as one of these people. Her pregame blurb about how to be a good poker dealer, you have to be a good poker player told me all I needed to know about Day's poker acumen. Doesn't shock me at all that she wouldn't know who a C level poker pro like Vanessa is.

Jmac seems to have swung James/Meg to his side for keeping him and going after the Austwins, who can't be trusted because they have deals with everyone. Now they're trying to get Vanessa on board. Someone finally woke up!

It's not but this is Jmac we're talking about. He also needs 1 more vote which is the hard part.

The problem is going to be that this is going to look like last-minute campaigning by Jmac. Which it is, but if they look at things objectively they'll see he's making some good points.

I think Vanessa wants JMac to stay because she knows whoever comes back in will work with JMac and he could keep her safe from that person.

Austin said it best when he said that Jmac hasn't talked game to him in over 60 days LOL. Jmac will go down in BB history as playing the most ridiculous game ever.

There's a ton of good points to make to get Steve out. He's a huge late game comp threat and can Ian his way to the finals if they don't take him out. Jmac NEEDS to talk to Vanessa and tell her that the Austwins are not taking Vanessa to final 4, they're taking Megs with them for the sure win which is very logical. Vanessa is so damn paranoid that it wouldn't be too hard to plant seeds in her brain. It would be so fun to be a cast on this season, I'd love to mess around with Vanessa If he can plants seeds of doubt in Vanessa (shouldn't be too hard, Austwins did want her backdoored), she'll be able to convince the goblins. There's many ways for Jmac to get out of this but his campaign is the worst ever.

I was being a little sarcastic when I implied Vanessa's face wasn't distinctive, but I was being serious about me realizing that I was silly for suggesting Day should know Vanessa. vanessa ratted out everything james/meg told her to the austwins. i told you guys she has no plans on flipping on them any time soon

when really this would be a perfect time for vanessa to flip because the austwins still have to go after john/james, and then you have james/meg/john targeting the austwins. it would keep vanessa alive for a while and would set up her endgame much better

She isn't wrong. She set herself up so Clelli and Austwins would be targeted before her. She is just in a house of dumb people allowing the 3 to stay.
