Correction. Steve did not want to go up as a pawn WITH Austin's intended target, Jmac. He was okay with going up as a pawn against Vanessa. With Meg, James, and Jmac as the majority voting block. Vanessa really twisting it to paint Steve as an untrusting alliance member.

No, in the initial conversation with all of the alliance members in the room, Steve said he was uncomfortable going up as a pawn, period. Vanessa then laid into him about how if you're a loyal alliance member, you have to be willing to be put up as a pawn, and she would volunteer but it would look bad and blah blah blah and what are you afraid of Steve we have the votes right here blah blah blah. It was only much later that he said he was ok with being a pawn but only if not against Jmac.

Poor Steve does look like he's about to snap. I do feel bad for him though. He's been used and abused by the psychopath in the house.

and becky/john would both be completely useless to come back for obvious reasons

steve would be exciting if he gets voted out and then comes back i guess, since he'd have to flip sides. but id much prefer jackie
Jackie would be my least preferred. She is so easily outplayed that she'll probably join James and Meg and make a final 6 deal with Austin and the Twins.

Becky would be the best imo. She can win comps and doesn't fall for BS so easily. She's also willing to put things aside and target Austwins first.

Jackie hates Austin and would definitely go after him and Vanessa

Meg and James discussing backdooring Austwins if they win next HOH, says they have to or might as well write them the checks. They need someone to come back this thursday and try to lure them on their side to go after Austwins.

Liz being the target would help Vanessa more than anyone. It would drastically improve her chances if Liz was out

That would be awesome for the feeds if they went after the Austwins. I don't think a backdoor plan would work though, they'd have to just put two of them straight up because they don't have the votes to save a pawn.

no matter what, they'd have to put 2/4 up of the austwins and vanessa. veto wouldn't really matter since one of them goes home regardless

the only way they could **** it up is if they put up steve or the returning juror

When you target Austin/Twins you put 2 of them up if POV used put other twin up. Leave Vanessa alone.

My point is

Target either
Austin/Liz/Julia
or Vanessa

If you leave Vanessa safe its possible she doesn't target you the next week. Small chance but your in such a terrible spot you need something.

It's actually sort of perfect that there's 4 targets because if for example you put up the twins and Austin wins veto, you can put up Vanessa as a replacement.

I think better choice is Austin / Liz. Austin wins veto uses it on Liz then Julia goes up.

Yes, though in the unlikely event that Julia wins veto, you'd still have to put Vanessa up.

eta: In fact, Austin and Liz would be smart to throw the veto comp to Julia for that reason.

She says her number one pet peeve is hypocrites. She's such a hypocrite when it comes to steve. Either she doesn't remember or doesn't care or want to remember that she was keeping **** from him and even using him as a guinea pig many times throughout the game. Even going up to james when james was hoh to say she would be on board(when he never asked her she was doing it for shelli and clay) to backdoor steve when shelli and clay were on the block. Now she's all high and mighty because he knew the house wanted her out and didn't tell her? The whole house knew including the austwins who you felt closest to vanessa. But you only want to to blame steve for not telling you? Why because he's the nerd and should be so grateful you sent him crumbs of information from time to time throughout the game and only used him as a guinea pig a few times when you told him he was your final 2 and most trusted ally? Don't you realize if he told you he would become a target for betraying the austwins trust leaking their plans? Steve should politely explain this to her where she could see his perspective but he doesn't know how to communicate his feelings. So he has to sit there while she berates him for being such a douche lol.

she's working with the austwins, who are working with her, so yeah she needs to go just as much. she is also a much bigger comp threat for all the mental comps (and usually there are more mental comps toward the end)

the only thing is, i would not target liz before targeting vanessa. if you take liz out, all that does is give vanessa power as she becomes the #1 for both julia and austin.

i would rather take austin or julia out which still leaves vanessa as the clear #3 on the totem pole, if i couldnt take vanessa out first

the best order would be to take out vanessa and then liz, and then hope julia and austin wouldn't be too close

plus you could potentially take out vanessa while remaining on good terms with the austwins

whereas if you take out liz first, they are all coming after you for the rest of the game

i guess in reality, your best chance would be convincing vanessa to turn on the austwins at some point, but i don't think anyone has even attempted that yet and I'm not sure how possible it would be
