That means there will be 7 people left and Becky can't play HOH so Austin and the twins would have a 50% chance at HOH.

People need to target them now.
I agree they should target them now but they won't. Especially meg and james won't as they're in real good shape to final 5 and then just hope they win the comps from there. Or they may try at 6 or 7 left. Becky targeting vanessa would be real dumb as where does she think she's going with austwins and james/meg. She know's she's 6th at best but more likely worse than that. She needs to join forces with vanessa, steve, james, meg, to have a chance in the game. But because they're stupid and dislike each other it won't happen. Steve is the only brains in the game so it would have to be him that brings all of them together against austwins. Steve would be smart to tell the house it was the austwins that made him go after the goblins to create distrust with goblins/becky towards Austwins.

I notice when Austin is lying to someone is comes out slow, relaxed, and non-passionate. Where when he believes in people he talks fast and passionate. Vanessa has been around him alot and says she's so good at reading people she should be able to pick up on this if she truly is good at reading people.

She does have fancy play syndrome and no off switch, but the austwins saying she's the shady betrayer in their relationship is a big hypocrisy. Vanessa has been betraying only one person on her team this game and that's steve.
I'm not sure how it's not considered a betrayal when she schemed behind Austin's back to put together an alliance to backdoor him.

Vanessa to Jmac: "Would you like my ideas on how you can improve your game?"

Sure, Vanessa, sounds like a real treat! Wow is she insufferable. But so good for the feeds.

She just has no off switch and can't help overplaying and FPSing everything.
I think they are making a big deal over nothing she told everyone her target was Becky. Austin did the same thing.

This is the tale the austwins are trying to spin but it's not reality. The reality was austin went rogue and starting lying to vanessa and plotting julia's demise with jason. Vanessa gave him a chance to explain why he was lying to her and he continued to lie to her so she had no choice but to accept his being disloyal, which means he may not be on her team. And it wasn't her plan gathering people to backdoor austin. It was a house decision to backdoor austin. So when Jackie won hoh with vanessa jackie said "i want to backdoor austin." Vanessa said i'm on board because i can't trust him anymore. Then vanessa got the control of hoh accidentally because james doesn't know how to throw a comp. So she had the control and decided to save Austin's ass(with clelli wanting her to save austin as well) from the house wanting his head. I don't see how you see that as a betrayal on vanessa's part. Austin lying to her to take out an alliance member(julia) behind vanessa's back, then the house wanting austin out and she saves him risking her game as the house would be pissed off if she didn't put him up. What a betrayal, lol.

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm

Austin never had any intentions to put Julia in danger. He told Jason a lie in order to throw off the other side. It was not at all a betrayal to the alliance but once Vanessa got wind of it she blew up because HE LIED TO HER and she went off the deep end.

Vanessa treats everyone like a child and if you don't tell her every detail of your game then she considers it a personal betrayal which gives her a REASON to do whatever she wants to you, including putting together a scheme to evict you.

Oh....I thought you were suggesting they vote Vanessa out this week instead of Becky.

Total bs he never had any intentions to put julia in danger. He was setting her up so when the other side needed to target the austwins he wanted them to target her over him and liz. Julia stilll doesn't trust him because of it. And if it wasn't any bad intentions or not being loyal to vanessa why didn't he tell her about it? At the very least he was tring to build a relationship with jason behind vanessa's back. Probably so when it was time for the other side to target vanessa's team austin would be safe while jason would target vanessa instead, probably with Austin's help.

And if your number one trusted ally is lying to your face you're gonna be in serious trouble going forward with him. Also, let's not forget where Austin finally admitted he threw the veto comp(after vanessa could tell he threw it and pressed him on it) because he wanted to get jeff on the block. Because he was jealous of Jeff and liz relationship. Vanessa wanted to take james out that week to limit the blood she spilled as james already knew he was vanessa's target now. But since austin f'd her she had to put jeff up causing her to leave james in the game with james knowing vanessa was gunning for him.

Why would Austin want one of the twins gone? That would be the dumbest thing ever, and Austin is not a dumb guy. He knew the 3-headed monster would be a target when Julia came into the house, so he was trying to throw the other side off by pretending he wanted Julia out as soon as possible so she wouldn't be taking up his time with Liz. The story he told Jason was a complete fabrication in order to protect the 3 of them.

He only did it to throw the other side off so they wouldn't think Austin + the twins are as tight as they are and get the enemies to trust him more. He had no intention of betraying Julia's trust. It was all good intentions.

It doesn't matter if it was an innocent fabrication or not. The point is he kept it from vanessa. And then when vanessa found out about it she asked him and he lied to her face. If you number one trusted ally is lying to your face about something innocent what else will he lie to you about as the game goes on? Can't be trusted! So she is right to see this as a bretrayal of trust. Not that it matters, but if it was so innocent why does julia to this day not trust Austin as a result of that? And if innocent why the need to lie to your trusted ally vanessa?

He could have wanted julia gone because he knew Liz would take julia over him to the end. And could have said it so jason's crew target julia over him and liz when it was time for them to come after the austwins. Telling them you'd spill less blood taking julia out where i won't target you for it. But if it's Liz we'd have a problem.

What's amazing? That they are pissed at vanessa? Or you're saying they should have targeted vanessa because they're pissed? They don't want to target vanessa because they think she will never come after them. Which i find odd? You think she's been betraying you guys but you know she'll never come after you. So maybe you should realize she's not betraying you? The noms look right to me.

Darkcheck, I think we have beaten this subject to death so I will just say one more thing on the topic: Lying to your ally about something you think is inconsequential to them may be an error in judgment, but it's not a betrayal. Scheming to evict your ally behind their back is a betrayal.

If Liz puts up John/Becky shouldn't they at least be a tiny bit mad at Austin/Liz/Julia? Nope Becky/John/Meg/James are so busy thinking about Vanessa.

TimTimSalabim, But you and Austin can see from Vanessa's eye's why she wouldn't be able to trust you and think you may be working against her when you're lying to her face. So it makes sense why she might go along with a plan to evict you because she figured you weren't on her side. The point is they both know what happened and hashed it out so it should be done with. He lied to her and she went along with the plan(not her planning the backdoor)of the house to backdoor Austin. She saved him which should offset or show even more loyalty going against the house plan. Btw when the house wanted vanessa out Austin didn't try to save her where it wouldn't even hurt his game. Where her saving him hurt her game with the house tremendously. They basically were like "we're good now. No harm, no foul. We survived it and you saved me so it's forgotten." Now all of a sudden he's shocked by the betrayal? All bs because he wants to roll with james and meg instead of vanessa and steve. Maybe because he worries he can't beat them in comps, more importantly in the final 2. Or he just likes meg and james better. But own it, don't bring up bs that was hashed out and old news and trash her as an excuse to betray her.

Vanessa has become the new Audrey. She's the one that they all think they can get out later because everyone hates her, so why bother doing it now when there are other more strategic targets. And there is a certain logic to it, as long as they can stand having her in the house.

It was all Vanessa's fault. When she confronted him about it she kept interrogating and threatened him "don't lie to me, swear on your life!, I hate liars". He got scared and didn't know what to do. If Vanessa spoke to him like a human being and not some raging psycho he would've came clean to her but he got scared and told a white lie to get out of it.

I have been pulling for Vanessa, but if I have a chance to get rid of her that's neutral ev, I'm getting rid of her just so I dont have to listen to her talk 1000mph repeating the same stuff and deal with the emotional outbursts every week. Smart girl, but her mental instability is a fatal flaw.

Who else could they put up? They can't put steve, james, or meg up because there would be a chance they'd leave and their all on austwins team. They don't want to put vanessa up because then vanessa would know they gonna f her soon. They want Vanessa still in game because they know she won't target them and she's a shield for them. They don't mind if becky left so put her up if the plan for john doesn't work. They will explain to becky she's a pawn. And she'll just be relieved she's not going home/the target as she suspected she would be.

Ok, yeah, i thought you were saying the austwins are pissed at vanessa in your original post. You mean why is the house pissed at vanessa when Liz put up john and becky. That becky and john should be pissed at Liz, not vanessa. I think it's because the house don't want to be the targets so they try to throw all blame on vanessa for everything so she's people's targets. Like was done to Audrey. Where once the house wasn't trusting Audrey anything that happened would be blamed on Audrey. Like when james backdoored jace james said it was a last minute decision because Audrey got in his ear manipulating him when really it was James and his 8 man alliance's decision from the beginning. To deflect blame from himself for doing the backdoor and put it on Audrey so she would be the next target. Everything Becky does in this game she says it was vanessa who was doing it.

Liz says Becky would go after her & Julia, but Johnny Mac would go after Vanessa "and unfortunately Austin which I'm okay with."
