Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm

Anyone who is rooting for Shelli to leave has to realize that there has been basically 0 game talk tonight because Shelli and Vanessa are both doing punishments. Without them this is summer camp.

Finished 600 in 3 hours so should take around 12 hours. Gonna have eat + take breaks + sleep but should be able to finish.

Yeah I would much prefer to see Shelli stay. Way more WIM than Clay.

It is these socially awkward moments like watching Steve play spin the bottle that come close to making the BB producers choosing social recluses w/ 0 shot @ winning worthwhile

I was so looking forward to Austin going home before jury. That might have been the best week ever in BB history. I imagine his total panic would have been the best thing ever. And if Liz and Julia humiliated him in his goodbye message it would be icing on the cake.

Right. A floater but at the time being slightly leans James side of the house because of his Becky influence. And maybe said james will tell us who he wants because he wants to vote to keep Clay and knows James wants Clay to stay. Maybe hoping that influences Steve vote to keep Clay without telling Steve he prefers Clay. He doesn't vote the way HOH tells him. He is one of the few that votes what he feels. He has spoken with others that it's not fair to be pushed into who to vote for. That if the vote was supposed to go the way hoh wanted they why is there a vote? Might as well just evict once hoh named their target. Voted against house in Jeff which slightly ruffled some feathers.

I agree. He has been growing on me when at first i wasn't feeling him. Part of reason being he is on the side of the house i'm not rooting for. But he seems like a kind, genuine, self-deprecating guy. But sometimes pushing the crude envelope but that was amplified because of Jeff's presence. I don't think he means any harm though. I feel for him as he always looks like a sad puppy dog when he looks at Meg. Because he knows she chose Jeff over him then chose Jason over him. He feels like a rejected 3rd wheel that is only getting her attention now because she lost the people she cares about and has no choice. Also respect him more game-wise as this week showed he has some game. And showed that when he wants to win a comp he can be dangerous if comp is determined by effort.

He better be careful with the race talk with Becky last night though lol. I know he's not racist and just explaining what races he thinks are good at what but celebrities have gone down for such talk. Jimmy the Greek talking about how/why he thought black people jump higher and run faster comes to mind.

I seriously hope that Shelli and Clay just go for broke if/when they come to the realization that their plan to get James to use the veto and put up Steve is not going to work. They have all the ammunition they need to get Vanessa put up and they'd still be in a decent position next week.

If they really want to stay i think their best chance would be to throw Becky under the bus that she's playing both sides. They could really cause alot of dissention and fear in the James and Co. side of the house if they did. And it would be all true statements not making them look bad as it all did happen. For instance.. Becky ratting out James plan to Shelli and Clay right after she heard the plan. Then telling Becky James, JACKIE(i capitalize her as this would be seen as a big betrayal to Becky where Jackie would then fear Becky might come after her), Jason, were plotting to send her home to keep Jason last week. And promise James and Co. the world that if you take one of them off and put Becky up and vote her out James, Meg, and Jackie would be safe from Clelli's end. That they wouldn't put any of them up until top whatever.

I really don't see why Clelli aren't using this plan. They say because Becky was trying to help them so they feel bad. But it might be they don't realize it's the most effective(basically only) shot they have. They were ok to throw Steve and Austin under the bus to save their ass when they didn't do anything against them yet Becky is half playing with them half plotting against them and they have loyalty to Becky? I don't get it? Take out fake girl!

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm

There's no chance James is going to settle for anyone but Shelli, Clay or Vanessa leaving this week. The easiest thing for them to do is go over how the sixth sense formed, that Julia revealed herself to Vanessa and that it's not Austin and the Twins, it's Vanessa and the Twins featuring Austin.

Make it seem that by blowing up the sixth sense they have no alliance, no power and will be the target of Austin and the twins. They will still be in a decent position because Jmac and Becky are pretty loyal to them.

That could work too. Much better chance than choosing to throw Steve or Austin under the bus. They would have the votes 5 to 4 most likely. 1 from Shelli or Clay, Meg, Jackie, Becky, John to vote to evict Vanessa. But if they truly believe in loyalty that would be pretty dirty. Where with Becky they don't really owe her much loyalty, especially compared to what they owe Vanessa.

They were set on Shelli, Clay, or Vanessa. But if you came to them with a deal to not target any of them until near the end of the game it might be more worth it than just going with your original plan.

Clelli is grasping at straws. They want to argue to James and meg that if noms stay the same, whoever stays is going to take it personal, and that is t going to be good for them. Good luck with that.

I absolutely love that James made a deal in front of the house. Broke it and everyone loves him for it lol.

Because he made a deal and broke it with the 2 people that screwed him over last week breaking their deal to him and his people really hurting their game. Seems fair to return the favor(the knife they put in their backs). And it's not really fair to put him on the spot while in a comp when Shelli was ready to fall anyway while he was fine. If he says no to the deal he will now be a target to Shelli and Clay which isn't fair.

The problem the other side has over Shelli and Clay compared to Vanessa and the rest of house makes alot of sense. It's because they chose to pretend they were working with them(playing both sides) so when they lie and betray their trust it feels as if they were stabbed in the back. Vanessa and Co. never pretended to be with them so they don't feel as much betrayed by her as much as the other side making a fair game move. Shelli and Clay that week were talking final 4 with Meg and Jason then agreed to backdoor him the same week is a big betrayal.

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm

If Clay stays Vanessa is in trouble. Clay has said to Shelli he trusts Becky and Johnny Mac way more than Vanessa. They then talked about how ridiculous Vanessa is being. Then they talked about how they didn't want Jason to go home last week but Vanessa basically forced them which is the exact opposite of what happened.

Basically everyone in 6S besides the twins has made Vanessa take the heat for last week. Clelli said we are drawing lines but whoever stays is still going to ride the middle and they still deny their part in it as much as they can. Austin said he is drawing a line and going up to Jackie and saying I want you out. He is now also playing both sides and is going to screw over himself Vanessa and the twins if he votes how James wants him to because he is a scared baby.

Austin keeps making remarks that he was bullied by Jason. This guy has to have serious mental issues always saying he is bullied by people. If there is anyone in the house who is a bully it's him to Steve. He uses the excuse that Steve tells him to but he would be doing it anyway.

I just don't get how last week Clelli wanted Becky out and couldn't trust her but this week they trust her more than Vanessa who has been working with them all game. JMac and Becky have both made up lies about Vanessa that Clelli haven't even given Vanessa the benefit of the doubt about and asked her. Some of them are little but just planting seeds of doubt but if brought up to Vanessa they could be squashed.

Re: Big Brother 17 -- Premieres Wednesday June 24th on CBS @ 8pm

I get the sense if

Shelli stays she will stick with Vanessa, Austin, Liz, Julia + be good with Becky, John
Clay stays I think he'd play middle. If sixth sense wins HOH he'd pretend like everything perfect. If Meg side wins I think he try's side with them.
Vanessa some how left I think Shelli/Clay would go against Austin/Liz/Julia unless they won HOH. Vanessa the middle man holding it together.

I think part of it is b/c Becky told them they were going up. They said Vanessa knew which is pretty much true. Sure Vanessa was never told names but she could piece it together.

Vanessa has to explain to Austin how last time he made a move without her permission he was the target of the house. Yes her too so she has to make it known that it's best for them all. Her best argument is Clay was part of the original 8 so he can be with the other side again but Shelli doesn't have connections to the other side. She can't be too pushy though.

Did Vanessa know for sure? She said to Clelli that James said he is putting up a couple with an unbreakable bond and she thought he meant the twins. She could have just said that to deflect the fact she knew though.

Austin was in the room when James told Vanessa a couple was going up and she had nothing to worry about. He was pretty much hinting at who it was. She said she thought she knew who it was but didn't want to know to protect herself.

Gotcha. I remember she had that convo with Johnny Mac too where she told him not to tell them. How does she not realize JMac is against her and all for Clelli? That was her biggest mistake this week.
