He nominated James/Meg on his first HOH & Julia/Liz on his second HOH. That is playing Vanessa's hand perfectly. Vanessa also made deals with Austwins & others to get rid of Steve just the same of any deals he made.

Ah yeah it was Meg/Jackie on his first HOH.

Liz just said she thinks Steve brought her to final 2 on purpose. Great insight Liz.

She is an idiot, but to be fair she said she thought he didn't tell her he was taking her to final 2 so she wouldn't prepare a speech or any answers for questions.

I mean why bother doing something like that? It's only $500k up for grabs

Maybe, maybe not. Jmac also asked Steve what to do with the veto and Steve told him not to use it, so I'm not sure if that's true. I think he wanted Jackie out all along

Vanessa claims shes a game theory expert yet votes Liz. This is the type of thing that makes me not like her. Shes a gamer yet disrespects the game with a vote like this. Her being a feminist is a joke excuse for her vote.

Grats to Steve he didnt play the greatest season ever but he played a solid enough game. He did just enough to win and ran good in the right places. He needed the money way more then Vanessa anyways.

The dj group talk reminds me of the portlandia skit where they can't avoid getting invited to dj parties

Well Vanessa just said she'd love another opportunity to come back and play again so if there is an all stars I'm sure we'll see her.

doed Vanessa even make jury without her drugs? Is she completely oblivious to how cracked out she acts after taking her "meds"?

So the fact she couldn't do that tonight is entirely disappointing. I would've applauded her class this episode had she voted steve (combined with the rest of the way she exited), but it just didn't happen.
I haven't seen any post interviews yet. She said she voted for Liz because she was female? If so that's ridiculous. I agree that any real game players should have voted for who deserved/played the best game which was clearly Steve in this case. Liz did nothing(vanessa made a face when steve said liz was only playing half the time in the beginning because she was in a hotel half the time, which was a fine point. I knew when she made that face she was voting for Liz.) She was carried and told what to do the whole game. Steve was strategically throwing comps when he needed to, winning comps when he needed, made alliances, strategically kept blood off his hands until it was time to make big moves(put up Jackie/Meg then Austin/Liz then took out the greatest female player of all time in vanessa.) Steve played a very good game. If not for vanessa being on this season he deserved to win more than anyone else. Argument for Austin being deserving because of his good social game, but really he was never tested because everyone was just scared to target austwins. So he cruised all season until steve and vanessa finally crushed the austwins. Very disappointed in the vanessa vote. She said when making the vote something like "i'm voting because of what this season represented." I was wondering what she meant if she meant loyalty, or great gameplay, but girl power? If so that's a joke.

The finale was ok but it felt like all the intensity in the studio was deflated when vanessa lost the comp then got evicted. You could hear the audience gasps of excitement when vanessa tied up the score with Steve. I'm happy for steve as he did what he needed to do to win. Obviously wanted Vanessa to win because she crushed the season but steve was my next choice. And this was his dream for so long so it was great to see him complete it.

I haven't searched for exit interviews yet but glad Vanessa vote didn't matter. Voting after just getting voted out must be tough but Steve played better. For most part final HOH must expect the vote to go against them.

It was Liz it was never close.

Liz had her 2 GTD votes + a Vanessa vote 5 mins after getting eliminated.

I nailed the jury votes. I thought either 7 to 2 or 6 to 3 for steve depending on the vanessa vote. I leaned she was gonna for for liz even though it's such a bad/dumb vote. But that's how she treated steve all season so it made sense. She was always screwing him over to protect the austwins or clelli.

well i gotta say with the whole twins+austin thing this season could have been disastrous in a landslide kinda way especially with them being with clay and shelli

the season was really good once the backstabs started. Oh and we had a lot of crazy people too.

And the two really likeable sidekicks in Jaimes (weee grats ) and Johnny mac.

Good season, slightly subpar in skills.

Its weird cause both Vanessa and Steve understood the game on a good level, both were incapable of keeping their emotions in check. Both had the tears (most of them unintentional), Vanessa had the massive paranoia, Steve was very dependant and was hard pressed to function alone.

Al in all Vanessa played probly a top 10 game if she was less paranoid she couldve cracked higher. Steve's an above average player and make the right moves at the end.

steve hates becky and they apparently never talked, becky has no idea it seems tho. Johnny mac hated steve after his eviction, steve evicted jackie. James and Meg dont really care either way (James vote was picked randomly so thats already 3.5 votes for liz minimum -.- )

etc etc

Saying people like Becky, Shelli, jackie, james and meg werent all coin tosses is absurd. They must have just banded while in jury house and agreed on Steve. Probly didnt change any vote but Liz was awful talking to the jury too.

But yes, you can count the votes, nice.

Steve doesn't hate Becky. I think while on the show he didn't like her but heard him say several times he liked her after she was gone.

John thought Vanessa played better but was never voting for Liz.

Steve told Meg/James it was Vanessa ideal to target Jackie which I'm sure they told her.

As JMack said, presenting Vanessa as a pelt on the wall for the jury would go well for Steve, and it did. Ousting Vanessa is why he won.

Reality TV has not seen the last of Vanessa Rousso.

Dancing with the Stars or Survivor is not far in the future.

And her comment about voting for the person she felt would best represent everything this season stood for. I was sure she was voting for Steve after that because that comment definitely doesn't fit Liz.
