I think Johnny said he didn't do that great on his SAT/ACTs. Steve on the other hand is supposed to be some kind of genius.

I mean doesn't it make sense to decimate the natural allies of the remaining Austwins before taking a shot at them?

Like if they take out Julia first tonight then Austin and Liz have a pretty easy decision to team up with Meg and James. Taking out Meg leaves James as a target in the unfortunate event that an Austwin does win HoH while also keeping Austwins in the dark a little longer about your intentions. If John and Steve want the best odds to survive past 2/3 Austwins then they're gonna have to be patient and do it in this order.

(now obv with DE tonight the above isn't quite as relevant as Austwins and J/M wouldnt have as much time to realize they need to ally but the HGs obv don't know this)

I didn't see the steve/John conversation today, but it's absolutely baffling to me if john independently said he didn't want to do it

But the ONLY way Meg stays is if St/Jmac flip. If they are going to do that, it would have to be under the condition that Meg/James/Jmac/Steve are rolling together now. This keeps James/Meg from jumping to Austwins. Now you are 4 vs 2 for HOH and 4-3 in the house, and you've broken up a solid 3some/sisters. Anything other than bouncing Julia is just absurd and there is no argument for it.

Steve keeping Julia isn't outrageously bad, but for Jmac it is. Not watching at the moment from the updates Steve told Jmac that they HAVE to win HOH tonight to survive WHAT? this makes it even more terrible from Jmac's perspective.

It's really frustrating to watch BB when everyone is so passive and so scared to make any moves. It's like watching a bunch of passive donks playing poker on your tv for tiny stakes. Why would anyone want to watch that? This could be the worst DE episode ever if James gets evicted tonight. I would have no one else to root for. Can't root for Austwins, Jmac and Steve. That only leaves Vanessa. Definitely will be done with the season if James go tonight. Bummer as I really loved the first half of the season, thought it was one of the best ever. Nothing beats Allstars S7 though.

There's not even much reason to think they wont be targeted for the next eviction. If they evict meg, they are a clear 2some. They view James and Vanessa as somewhat on their own while both having separate but good relationships with Austwins, while they don't. If James binks hoh he may very well just target st/jmac/van. Austwins will target jmac/st

I can't think of any likely scenarios where James goes tonight. I guess only if its JMAC or Steve as hoh, which is just a painfully bad move.

Steve made Julia + Liz to promise on their parent's life this morning that they won't put him up and backdoor him. If Julia wins HOH she'll put up James + Jmac for sure (she already said this multiple times). If Jmac wins veto, she'll have to put up Vanessa as a pawn which means everyone will vote out James.

Thu 12:41 PM BBT Liz tells Austin that if James/JMac wins Veto - then Steve will have to go on the block even though she agreed she wouldn't nominate Steve

hmmm, I actually wouldn't mind this at all. I love watching passive players get punished. Steve leaving would be absolutely great.

Both twins and maybe even Austin would target him.

If he's stupid enough to leave a 3some in the house (he is) then he absolutely deserves to go home.

I'm pretty sure James is the only one I want to win anything at this point.

I'm almost positive Steve goes home if he's up on the block against Jmac. Austin has been scared of Steve for a while now and don't want him to go on a comp streak like Ian to win his way to the end. Since Jmac has already been evicted, he has that against him for a case to win the game at F2. Steve is actually in a whole lot of trouble. He's making the real safe play here when it's not even that safe to begin with.

Twins would target James but Austin wouldn't. Austin would target Jmac first and maybe even Steve.

I don't think Austin would target James either. I also think the girls would be talked into targeting Steve and Jmac because everyone knows they are together.

Yeah, from Austin's perspective it's extremely dumb to target James. He likes James more than the other 2 who are a pair and he needs James to go after Vanessa (Steve and Jmac won't target Vanessa). There's no upside for Austin to target James.

Vanessa tells Austin that her and Steve are very close though and she can control him. I'm also thinking that Jmac will have to target Austin because Jmac left on Austin's HOH and it was the twins who were the deciding votes to send him home. I think it's very unlikely from Austin's perspective that they would target Vanessa and leave all 3 Austwins in. He might think they would target James next before Vanessa though. But that's kinda dumb too, you evict the player who's all alone on your HOH and can't play the next week, you'll be a sitting duck for the Austwins. The game isn't that hard but they're making it hard.

also rooting for steve or jmac to go home during DE for not making a move. did they just forget what happened last week, when they were on the block? austwins or vanessa deserve the win at this point in the game.

Me too, James putting up Vanessa + Liz would be glorious. I hope he realizes this is the only way to get Vanessa out. I'm scared he just might try to stick it to Steve for voting out Megs and putting up Vanessa + Steve, which would mean Steve would be leaving.

As you can see there are many scenarios tonight for Steve to actually go home. He's not that safe at all. Also if twins win HOH and said they will have to go back on their word to Steve and put him up, they just might have to vote him out during DE.

They wouldn't vote Steve out. They trust Steve more and limit amount of time.
