Well if Steve is gonna flip his vote he's not getting Vanessa's permission.

I don't know how James stayed so calm in that convo with Vanessa because I would have gone off on her. Even as a viewer I get pissed listening to her

Vanessa just told Steve she would bet her life Austin would go after the twins next week if he won HOH. Facepalm.

He really has to wake up at this point.

Honest question for you guys. If you were in Steve's position and you heard this from Vanessa wouldn't this set off HUGE warning bells for you that Vanessa is FOS and is playing all sides?

This happens every year where someone says something that is so outrageous yet the we scream at the TV at how stupid they are to believe it. Maybe it's because I'm a very skeptical person in general and I wouldn't trust anyone in the BB house.

Even if there was some truth to it that Austin would go after the twins, why wouldn't he go after Jmac first? This makes absolutely no sense, Steve and Jmac need to wake the f up.

100 percent agree. And things like this is the reason he never trusts her. Because he knows when she comments like these mean she's blowing smoke up his ass and not fully on board with him. I haven't seen the convo yet but how can she even try to sell that? I could see selling Austin might not fight for them if someone else put them up maybe, but for him to win hoh and throw them both up? No chance ever. She can't think steve this stupid?

Did steve say he was gonna flip the vote on cam before or after this convo wit vanessa? If after that makes alot more sense.

I mean it's a 5 minute conversation with Meg/James and he would be all set if he is that confused. And for a superfan to not know he should be evicting the people who almost evicted him last week it's very bizarre.

Vanessa's the one person in the house that Steve should know by now to trust the least. This whole conversation is a big facepalm.

She does make some good points but agree she's not looking out for steve's best interest but her own.. I mean vanessa saying they can't trust meg and james will work with them over austin and liz after julia leaves is true. But what she's not telling him is austwins more likely(most likely at last in her eyes/she's prolly right) to target steve before vanessa where meg and james more likely to target vanessa before steve. So vanessa has huge incentive/biased in this game decision. If she wants steve off this take out julia plan she should pitch the fact that steve may lose 3 jury votes from austwins for giving his word and breaking it by voting out julia. Haven't seen whole convo yet to see if she says this or not. Another big incentive for vanessa to keep julia is she thinks julia trusts her more than everyone in the house after liz. This would be so much better for all of them if Liz was the one on the block if they flip the vote.

At least they're finally really talking game lol. They got the map rolled out and planning strategy and naming names. No more cat and mouse bs. Well some cat and mouse from vanessa with her bs.

Very tough call. Taking out julia would look better on the surface if he can strike a deal with meg and james. Then steve would have 4 people in the house not targeting him most likely and only 2(liz and austn) targeting him. But then steve becomes a target for sure by those 2 when it's random if he's a target next week for austwins or not. And prolly loses the twins jury vote and maybe austin's as well for breaking his word.

Would be very good for jmac though as he wouldn't get the same heat steve would. Austwins would most likely target steve over him because of the betrayal. Meg and james would target vanessa most likely. Jmac floats on by. Jmac should be working on steve but jmac is lost in space.

Saying it like this is a little misleading. It makes it sound like he has undying loyalty to the twins which was the furthest from what he said. It's true he said he doesn't want to be the one to pull the trigger. But he didn't act like he'd be mad if others did. In fact saying that it's fine. That this is his dream and he has to play individually. If liz left and he won she could spend his money anyway if they're dating.

So when vanessa said austin would turn his back on the twins if he needed to he would she essentially was correct in saying that. Prolly not him pulling the trigger though. But i wouldn't call that being "egg all over her face." Egg all over her face would be if austin came in and said "i'll always protect the twins. And whoever targets them is my target next."

Or maybe, just maybe, it's because you as a viewer have access to mountains of information that the house guests don't!

That's why I asked the question. Obviously the house guests are working with incomplete information that we all have. But even with incomplete information the statement by Vanessa was so outlandish. That's why I pose the question if you were in the house in Steve's position (meaning you wouldn't have the information that us viewers have) would you see through it?

The statement makes no sense why she would bet her life that Austin would target Liz and Julia if he wins HOH. Even if he did why wouldn't he get out Jmac first? It was Austin and the twins who got him out so it would be in the back of his mind that Jmac will target him. There's so many targets for Austin to get out before the twins that Vanessa being so sure that she would bet her life on it should tell you she's FOS and trying to protect Austwins when Steve floated the idea of getting them out.

Steve & J-Mac want so badly to vote out Julia but aren't sure if James/Meg will work with them. Pathetic of Meg/James to not offer Steve/J-Mac anything. This cast sucks.

Meg's campaign has been so weak. And the only people she campaign's to are the people the least likely to listen to her. She wanted to talk to austin last night then backed off. First off he's only one vote. Second he's not likely gonna do it. The obvious two people to talk to are steve and jmac who she should realize have incentive already like you said, and are the 2 votes she needs. And her lack of wanting to go all out seems like she's scared of the repercussions if people don't like what they're hearing is ridiculous. What do you care meg? You're out unless you throw the kitchen sink so she shouldn't be worried about anything.

Steve and JMac should 100% vote out Julia. If James/Meg win HOH then JMac/Steve will never touch the block. If Austwins win HOH, one of them will be sitting next to James on the block and if James wins veto then both will be on there.

The work is putting in campaigning pretty much sums up her whole game. She'll think about moves she can make and never follow through, and totally reject other peoples ideas for her to help her game. I got no problem with her leaving, shes a fine person but a waste of space in the BB house.
