Austin and Liz telling vanessa they talked with julia and she's cool with being the pawn and vanessa arguing that steve may be better. She doesn't realize it could blow up in her face if they put steve up. Why wouldn't she take the out and put up Julia? But finally Austin and Liz convinced her to put up Julia, hopefully.

Steve doesn't talk game with James/Meg. If he did he would've known that they are also targeting Liztin. They could've worked together but because of Steve's unwillingness to talk game he has no idea where they are at and James/Meg won't tell him anything.

Last night Jmac opened up to Steve at the hammock and told Steve his game plan saying that they have to take a shot at the Austwins and can work with James/Meg. Steve gave him nothing and avoided talking game. WTF is wrong with this dude, he's your f2 and won't give Jmac any info.

If Julia does somehow get put up, I don't get why Steve and Johnny wouldn't join up with James to vote her out. Why get rid of a complete non-threat like Meg when you have a shot at breaking up the 3-headed monster? Wake up, boys, this isn't summer camp. You're playing for half a million.

Vanessa's reasoning is that she wants Steve in the game as a meat shield for her because if James win HOH he'll put Vanessa up next to Steve and she'll have the votes to stay. The flaw with that is James would most likely put up Vanessa + Liz if he wanted Vanessa to go. All he'll need is 2 votes (julia, Austin) and James will be the tie breaker to send Vanessa home.

I wonder if someone like Dr Will or Dan was in the house would they be able to talk some sense into these 2. They would be so frustrating to work with.

Dr. Will would probably literally shake them all and say "How are you letting a tight 3-person alliance go completely untouched? And two of them are twins who will never go against each other in a million years. Twins!"

Steve thinks (and I know this because its what he said alone to the camera) that if he took out Julia first, then Austin/Liz/Meg/james would make a 4 person deal against him

So he wants to take out Meg, and then win the next HOH which he's thinking will be the days comp, and then put up Austin/Liz

Seems pretty goddamn risky to take a trio who also has Vanessa over you to a final 7, but what do I know

John also said he'd vote out Meg over Julia when he was talking to steve on the hammock, so it's definitely gonna be an uphill battle. Makes no sense.

Luckily there's a lot of time in between the veto ceremony and the vote on Thursday

Yeah it's so stupid. Says he will get rid of Megs and then try to make a deal with James, LOL wtf? Wouldn't it be better to make a deal with James BEFORE you evict his queen?

It'd be such a golden opportunity for steve/jmac/james/Meg to make a true f4 if Julia is on the block. They vote her out and have a 2/3 chance of winning the next HOH, and then they take out Austin or Vanessa. If you're steve, you know that Austin and Liz are still going after john before you, and if you're john you know they're going after you regardless so you might as well take one of them out.

And they'd have a huge advantage in comps once it got to f4 with james and Meg. Like they should be the perfect people to work with because Meg sucks and james won't win a mental comp. Steve and john will have like 3 days to figure this out.

I don't get Steve's logic at all. If he saves Meg, James and Meg will come after him? But he evicts Meg, he'll somehow get James to work with him?

I think he's blinded because he has a crush on Julia and doesn't want to face the fact that if the tables were turned she would evict him in a heartbeat if it helped her game.

You might be on to something. I've forgotten about the crush he has on Julia and that he thinks Julia likes him. He's still planning on making a move on Julia if he goes to jury. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure I heard last night when he was talking to Liz and Julia, Julia told him that she would give him a kiss if he voted for her to stay (after finding out she may be a pawn). He got so excited LOL. This guy is a legit 10 yr old boy.

I swear, the men on the cast this year is so terrible. Two of them are willing to fall on the sword for their queen (Clay and Austin), James jokingly said he'll do it for Megs but Megs wouldn't let him. Then you have Jmac and Steve who won't talk game to anyone even when they're on the brink of going home LOL.

I think he's doing the right thing. Think about it. If he evicts julia he has 3 people gunning to evict him, Austin/liz/vanessa. Plus he loses 3 or 4 jury votes if he happened to make it that far, Austwins and maybe vanessa. Where if he votes out meg he has 0 people targeting him this week and most people would vote for him in he got to final 2. Even meg said she hopes steve wins this year. We know you have to break that up at somepoint but whoever does really hurts their chances(gets too much blood) in a final 2 chair out of anger of the austwins. Especially vanessa and steve where they are aligned with them. Especially bloody for steve knowing he promised them the vote and it 100 percent would have been him who betrayed them if julia left. Jmac or james taking out the austwins is what vanessa and steve would like to see. And jmac would do it as he knows he's already their target and wouldn't have their vote in jury. And james may if vanessa, steve, and jmac come to him with an alliance.

Only way steve might do it is if vanessa and steve(and maybe jmac but you don't even need to put him in the deal as jmac will vote out austwns if vanessa and steve tell him to) agree to make a deal with james and meg that if we do this for you you take us to final 4. And you target austwins next week as we're getting bloody so they will be targeting us. That way we all get blood for betraying the austwins and we get them out. Vanessa getting the least blood so it has incentives(vanessa's new favorite word) for her to consider being ok with it.

Except Austin/liz/Julia already used him as a pawn and almost evicted him which should tell him he's expendable to them and a backup plan for eviction if their plans go wrong. Also a person with more self confidence would never trust Vanessa again the way he treated him last week like a puppy dog.

DarkCheck, the Austwins already were gunning for him. Vanessa pretty much explained it to him how close he was to leaving. He goes up on the block next to Megs, they were voting him out. When Austin was HOH he put up Steve and Jmac not the goblins. That should let him know where he stood with them. Vanessa is basically begging them to evict Julia by handing her on a silver platter without actually saying the words, she wants to be innocent in this. Vanessa can easily be smoothed over if he knew what to say (sadly he doesn't)

If Steve votes out Megs, that means Austin/Liz/Julia will all play in HOH next week. If they win who exactly does he think they would put up? It won't be Vanessa and James (they didn't put him up last week). So the only 2 people that they will put up would be Steve and Jmac again and they will decide who leaves. Steve also loses James' trust by evicting Megs. Steve's whole plan this week is contingent on him winning HOH. Considering Jmac and Steve has won only 1 hoh between them the whole season, it's likely that someone from the Austwins will be in power next week.

There's no way it's a good idea leaving 3 members in an unbreakable alliance in a game with only 7 players left no matter how you spin it. Evicting Julia, he would only have to worry about Austin/Liz winning HOH, but he'll also pick up James and Meg's trust and will be able to work with them.

Popo is correct. There's also a real good chance if Steve goes up with Jmac, Steve will leave this time. Jmac has already been evicted so he's basically dead in the water when it comes to jury threat for winning the game.

Agree with your self confidence comment. Steve's a mess, he has zero self respect.

Steve knows austwins would come after him at some point(but no more than anyone else in the house not an austwin, maybe more than vanessa but even that's not for sure.) in the game but they won't right now as jmac is their target if steve votes out meg. If steve votes out julia that target switches to steve being austwins main target. James target would be vanessa or austwins. He'd be 0 people's main target if he votes out meg. Where if he votes out julia he would be main target of Liz, Austin, and maybe vanessa unless he smooths it over first with vanessa. So he goes from being 0 people's main target next week with 7 people left or being 2 or 3 people's main target. And we know meg isn't gonna win hoh so 2 austwins playing hoh vs jmac and james for hoh. So if he doesn't win HOH would have 50/50 shot at being the main target. Where if he votes meg out he has a maybe 90 percent chance of staying as he's noone main target.

Nobody likes keeping in a 3 man unbreakable alliance 7 handed but it's better than turning yourself into a main target of almost half the house 7 handed when right now your noone's main target. If vanessa, steve(or replace vanessa or jmac with james) jmac get to final 6 with austwins and not being anyone's target for sure looks pretty decent for Steve. Much better than turning yourself into a mian target 7 handed to multiple people in the house.

Yes, Steve did their dirty work by getting rid of Jackie and how did they reward him? By putting him up as a pawn and then not caring if it was him or Jmac that got evicted. He's got to know that he's at the very bottom of any alliance that involves Vanessa and the Austwins. And he's been alternately abused by Vanessa one week, then the next enlisted in her plans. It's time for Steve to get some payback.

eta: Plus James, Meg and Jmac will all have his back and won't put him up if he saves Meg. And Vanessa can't even play HOH this week.

Julia's reason for not wanting to go on the block was because then she'll have to make a speech and she doesn''t want to. And vanessa defending it that i almost didn't put her up so she wouldn't have to do the speech. Wtf? How does that sound to steve that you'd rather risk his game so julia doesn't have to talk when meg goes home?? It really is summer camp for the twins!

Why doesn't Vanessa see this and make her game move? I believe if she doesn't do one of the twins this week, they will do her next. Now is the time to flip and go with numbers instead of their shaky alliance, IMO.

If Vanessa takes aim at Austwins and is successful, this would be her check mate ftw, IMO. America wants the Austwins OUT, it's all over Twitter and if Van fails, her fans want her out next.

Van clearly has everyone in the house upset with her gameplay and she could solidify a new alliance with James, Meg, JMac, Steve and Julia and be a powerhouse NOW. Otherwise, she stays with Austwins and they keep steam rolling the players and she gets voted out by them and Austin walks with the win.
