Yes she does. She would have 3 votes in Austwins IF she could secure 2 more more. That's the big if. She has a chance because James would want Shelli out because of Clay, and if she can get James to vote out Shelli, she can potentially get Steve too. It's SUPER slim, I'd say it's less than 15% because James will stay loyal to his girls but she's not dead in the water. A good player would be able to get out of this, hard but not impossible. Also Shelli is a pretty good competitor so it shouldn't be impossible, it's not like she's sitting up there with Megs. The problem is her paranoia and sketchy behavior has been her downfall.

Vanessa is 100% dead. Her best chance is winning re-entry to the house.

Dan was 100% dead but he came up with "Dan's funeral". Dan had 0 votes at the time, Vanessa still has a shot at 3, she's better shape than Dan at this point. In Dan's words, "There's always a way".

Vanessa in another full blown meltdown right now. She's pissed no one is checking up on her. Everyone thought she was asleep.

I don't see any chance James turns against the other goblins and Becky after all the trouble they've gone through to get Vanessa out. He's a loyal soldier who will do what the group wants, and imo will be patient and wait for his chance to get Shelli out later when his whole group is behind it.

That said, it probably won't stop Vanessa from trying to turn him, which should at least make for some good feeds.

She doesn't need James to turn on his alliance. She just needs him to persuade the goblins how getting out Shelli will be better for his and their game.

Vanessa still looking for reasons, and telling her allies that they're pieces of ****

Stay classy

+1 she isn't 100% gone. She is drawing very slim but this could be overcome with some really good gameplay. If she could put her emotions aside and treat this like a poker game she could figure a way out of this.

Vanessa needs to compose herself and have a talk with James alone. Her being pissed off at Steve and Julia isn't helping at all. She needs James to persuade the goblins.

She's an emotional trainwreck with no social game. She's not Dan Gheesling. She's done. They see Shelli as dead and alone.

I don't feel like you need to be Dan Gheesling to get out of this. She's extremely close with Steve and the Austwins. That's 4 votes, they'll do it if she can assure them of at least one more. It wouldn't be a split vote and most likely the goblins will vote as one. I'm positive I can come up with some compelling arguments on why I should stay over Shelli if I was Vanessa. Tell them getting out Vanessa is only good for Becky's game and not theirs (goblins) and that Shelli is secretly very close to Becky/Jmac. If Vanessa stays she'll always go for Becky and vice versa, she won't be gunning for the goblins while Shelli will. There's lots of ways to play this. If all else fails, promise them the moon if you have to. Tell them you'll throw HoHs, vetos, whatever. Anything is better than crying all day in bed.

ZERO chance she gets James to try to flip the votes to get Shelli out. There is no one she can flip to save herself. Even her own alliance sees her as a liability at this point and would rather see Shelli saved over Vanessa

Vanessa is more unstable than Audrey... no way anyone in the house wants to go through this a second time

I feel a sane person could get out of this but I don't think Vanessa will talk the correct way.

I don't think James would flip on his own but if Meg thought it was a good ideal he would.

She could persuade James with a solid 1 on 1 talk with him. If she convinces him, he'd do the rest to convince Jackie/Meg that it is best for them to keep V. Austwins/Steve are easy. In a conversation earlier today between Shelli & Austin/Liz, it seemed to me like Austin/Liz insinuating that they were voting to keep Vanessa but that it wouldn't matter because the other side has the votes to boot her.

Edit: BUT, Vanessa is being ridiculously emotional. Something we've seen her do for weeks now. It was going to come back and bite her at some point. She won't pull anything off being this way.

She's 100 percent right. They are pieces of ****. Their is a decent chance they could save her but they won't even try because they have no loyalty. It wouldn't even hurt their game to try. To just calmly/friendly discuss with ADC that vanessa staying is better for their game then shelli staying. That James knows for sure Shelli is coming for him where vanessa is not. Especially now she's not because now she would target becky if anyone from that side. And becky, John, Shelli have worked together before so if they form a 3 that would be bad for the house. Where becky, john, and vanessa would never be able to work together because of this. Vanessa would always be alone where shelli can still work with people. And that Vanessa understands game moves and won't hold you guys responsible for this where shelli will never forgive james. And that we did agree on shelli going out so why not just stick to the plan. And if we stick to it we give our words to work with you and you 3 are safe. And if we have to target your side eventually we will hit Becky and john first. Stuff like that. But they don't want to be bothered and are cowards. Austin is more concerned about having a fun week before double eviction night.

Yep, plus Steve hates Becky. They have no relationship in the house. Keeping Vanessa in the house to go after Becky would be good for him. If Vanessa is more stable, she'll be able to get out of this. Don't think she will though.

It sucks because as a poker player I'm sure she is even more aware than everyone else in the house of how these strong emotions will negatively affect your game/judgement. Yet it is still going to be her downfall if she can't control them.

Shelli wins HOH, the only people she'll put up is James + Goblin. She won't put up Austwins, Steve, Jackie/Jmac
Vanessa wins HOH, she puts up Becky + Jmac

The more I think about it, it's not even that hard to persuade the goblins to keep her. She needs to start talking to them.

honestly though, as a poker player you'd think Vanessa would be more aware of what her image is in the house. it's like she has no idea how she's perceived whatsoever, nor does she care. I really don't understand that coming from her
