Van probably feels she has better control over Austin at this time. Plus if she uses POV on Shelli it removes any doubt about them working together.

Damn I'm good.
She damages too many relationships this way.

Everyone in the house already knows Vanessa and Shelli are super close. Vanessa was fighting to save Shelli this week. It's irrelevant at this point.

Despite that there is still enough room to manoeuvre that she should be able get out of this tricky spot.
I think Vanessa's best chance would be for her whole team Austwins and Steve to put pressure on becky saying "we made a promise to take out other clelli this week you better honor it and stay away from Vanessa or we're coming after you next chance we get." It could work as becky knows she's not a main target from that side right now, if she knew taking out vanessa would make her the number 1 target for half the house she might think twice. It won't happen because everyone wants to cover their own asses(but really it wouldn't hurt them to try that) but i'd love to see them do it. That would show some true loyalty!

The twins would have to go up eventually. It's silly to think that you put up one of the twins and not think they that the others wouldn't be mad at you. The lines are already drawn. Putting up someone like Steve and Austin could backfire as someone like Shelli could win POV and leave noms the same. Therefore your 2 main targets and largest threats in the house are safe for the week, that would be disaster.

Vanessa needs to work with Shelli, Steve and the twins this week behind Austin's back and shift the target to Austin. Shouldn't be too hard to convince the twins that the house will target Liz before Austin because Liz is perceived to be the link between Austin and Julia.

I'm pretty sure from the feeds this week that Becky's main target is Vanessa, possibly Shelli or Austin. She's going to backdoor Vanessa so it'll be interesting to see who she puts up.

Steve is the best pawn atm because no one will be incensed at him going up. Put Vanessa on the block with him and make deals with Austin and Twins. Worst case scenario Shelli wins veto she'll have to break her word to Austwins. The odds of that are small enough to warrant taking the risk given the benefit of not being targeted by Austin and Twins going forward. Also keeping Shelli off the block is good for her because Becky and Jmac have a good relationship with her so that will also help her play the middle for longer.

And putting up austin/liz or julia with intentions of backdooring Vanessa wouldnt be that bad, since you could let them in on the plan before hand, and tell them that if Vanessa finds out before Veto, you'll keep the noms the same, or put up the other twin/ausint as a replacement

It'll be better to backdoor Vanessa. Vanessa and Shelli are so good at comps, it's risky to nom Vanessa and give her a chance to play. It's not a small risk. You also run the risk of Shelli winning the POV and pulling Vanessa off (which she will do) and Becky will be totally screwed for next week. These aren't small risks.

Like I said earlier, the twins and Austin are so terrible at comps, I wouldn't worry too much about backlash. I'd be much more worried about Vanessa staying being mad at me than the Austwins. Also you can still make a deal with them and let them know that even though they are going up, they are not the targets. One of Shelli or Vanessa has to go this week or her HOH week is a waste. Putting up the twins is foolproof as it guarantees one of Van or Shelli going home. You may never get another chance like this for the rest of the game.

How is that foolproof when there are three people (Vanessa, Steve and Shelli) that would likely keep the noms the same?

You convince whoever wins veto that your replacement nom would probably be Steve.

Dunno how to convince Steve to use it

do it like james. take a direct shot and put up both shelli and vanessa. if either wins pov, then use a twin as a pawn.

unless you're a very good or great player, you shouldn't rely on pawns and sophisticated moves.

Yeah, she's a mess right now. She's having her period, got into huge fight making more enemies, the other side won hoh, SHE LEAKED FREAKS AND GEEKS to shelli accidentally so she just said Steve made the name Beauty/freaks and geeks. That we're the same as 6th sense but with Steve now. She's not acting like she thinks she's in trouble though little nervous and kooky. But i think that's just the period and drama today. She probably thinks they will target Shelli.

Steve hasn't told Vanessa yet that she may be the target. He was wanting to tell her(only saying maybe they might go for us) but i think he realizes it's very dangerous for him to tell her because she's so emotional she might run right to John and becky and mess up Steve's game. Plus he's not sure if Vanessa's playing him because she always keeps things from him. John told Steve about the 1 week alliance going after 2nd half clelli then floaters. Vanessa didn't tell Steve so Steve might think she is working against him.

Cam 3 around 11 pm pst was Jackie lying in bed with an ice pack. Someone else's mic got turned up (female could have been Becky) and you could clearly hear grunting and saying oh my god.

Taking a huge dump or what?
