Shelli is showing everyone the exact way NOT to play this game. I can't believe how many people who win HoH make the mistake of self-isolating themselves in the HoH room. . Especially when you spend 90% of that time with 1 other person. It won't be long before people decide the couple needs to be broken up. I can understand it when you are trying to talk game w/ people, but AFAIK the plan to put Meg up is still in place so GTFO outta that room and at least be seen by other HG's.

She coulda had the easiest HoH ever just back-dooring Audrey and actually gained support in the house but instead she can't seem to get outta her own way

The casting is fine, MUCH better than last year's cast. This year luck will be a huge factor on winning the game. You can't take the way Derrick played last season as a blueprint on how to win BB. Even though there's the BotB twist, BB has already said there will be a twist every single week. These damn twists can be absolutely anything and the producers can do whatever the hell they want. In that sense it would be a totally different game this season as you can't really predict what's going to happen, the way Derrick and his alliance was able to last season. Last year besides the Botb there were very few twists the whole season so it was much easier to map out the game.

The biggest thing that killed last season was the Team America twist. Frankie and Derrick were getting ready to go hard for each other just before they found out about TA.

Thoughts on Jason? He seems to have seen more Big Brother than anyone in the house. He's guaranteed to be safe this week but I haven't seen him do anything like trying to convince Shelli on who to put up. Does he just not care?

Jason watches BBUS, BBCAN, BBAUS, and BBUK. He watches them all. He seems to have a good grasp of the game. I think James and him are the only ones who have brought up getting rid of Vanessa. I think that's a pretty good move. I think they also brought up that they have to get rid of Steve because they don't want him to be the Ian Terry of this season and win it. Austin might have said that about Steve too. I also caught Day talking to John saying that last year's cast was a bunch of idiots, how they can let Derrick can go the whole season without being nominated is absurd (it should clue the house in that he was the mastermind and playing the house). She guarantees it won't happen this season because she would know something is up and would put him up. So this cast does seem to be a thinking cast.

Jason has balls, Andy has nothing on him. Only this that worries me about Jason is his mouth

I think Johnny Mac, Steve, Austin, Vanessa, Jason, Jeff. Not all of them have played good games so far just basing this on intelligence, knowledge of game strategy, and potential.

Johnny is playing a great game right now. Boring but effective. He followed his plan and is now in a great position in the house. Everyone likes him, off everyone's radar, formed an alliance where he is protected and nobody knows about which he can choose to be loyal to or just use their info and sabotage them at his discretion, not seen as a threat because he acts weak and dumb, can form other secret alliances if he wants because nobody thinks he's working with anyone except his secret alliance.

Surprised Vanessa went on the Jeff and Austin show. Can see on her face she doesn't want them to ask about her past boyfriends. But I'm happy she is mingling and purposely staying up later.

By the way, a few days ago I said he was playing a good game or something like that. I actually like him and if he does what you said and relaxes a bit I could change my mind again, but I think he has had a horrible few days.

Surprised how quick witted Jeff was on that "podcast". I kind of assumed that Austin would take the reins more, but Jeff basically dominated the conversations and asked very good questions.

I'm not sure if Audrey purposely brought up Shelly's past marriage or not, but it sure seemed like she did.

Vanessa came out of that interview looking pretty strong. Though she clearly lied or omitted things from the questions, she turned them into positives and everyone seemed to be receptive to her.

The first person I was rooting for and thought was playing well was Jeff for those reasons. I said he was smart he just is getting wrapped up in his lies now but apparently we're the only ones who see it for now.

Well Becky finally talked game and had a convo with Austin and Liz and she is more aware of what's going on than she let off but that may just be because Shelli kicked her out of her HOH room when a group of 5 was up there. Just a dumb move by Shelli and Clay as usual.

You know you missed a good night on the feeds when you wake up at 4:40 A.M. house time and all 4 cameras are still active.

Apparently it became public knowledge overnight that Meg is going up on the block and Day is going home and Day is pissed @ James.

Completely rational reaction of course.

I hope the producers are smart enough to reveal the last laugh power to the HG's (or at the very least the winner of it) before the live broadcast. Not sure if Day could scramble up enough votes regardless of who gets it, but the feeds would be great on Wednesday watching her try.

I expect phone twist to start soon but still can't figure a way how Day stays.

She would need 4 votes - 3 votes
Jason possible
James / Jeff love Meg I think they save her
Clay/Austin/Vanessa/Liz/John will keep Meg
Steve/Becky I'm guessing would keep Meg

Week over imo

It was just a joke. Jeff was teasing her about being a temptress and she said something like, that's right I'm the twist.

Highlight show on the feed. They must be doing the veto ceremony.

Pretty sure Day just told James Liz looks different and could be twins. They cut to it late so didn't hear the name but had to be Liz.

Day just figured out the twin twist. Says it's ridiculously obvious.

If Day had only figured that out a day earlier she might have saved herself.
