This is a terrible strategy because he's going to be put up all the time and if something goes awry like the real target winning the POV and the numbers start dwindling, they're going to get the boot.
It's too early to say he's playing a terrible game imo, annoying to view as he hasn't really played game yet yes, but not bad. Coming in he said it was his strategy to lay low stay off the radar early on. So far he is following his plan.

I found it hilarious they just kept talking when Johnny walked in hoh room. I was like Johnny must be thinking thank you for telling me a bunch of info i wouldn't have known. Basically he only in this alliance because he walked in instead of another floater. If John stays true to this alliance for awhile it's not that bad for his game as it's a much better spot than he was in before. He can try and coast to jury position then recruit the rest of the jury members not in his 4 alliance to make his own alliance. He knows the other 4 are couples so their loyalties are stronger. The 4 would still think he's working with them so would have their gameplan that he could sabotage. That being said he may just realize this crew is dumb and not that loyal to him really and just pretend to be with them and hookup with people that would appreciate him informing on the alliance and saving their asses. And who don't have loose lips... Vanessa, Austin, Steve, Liz, maybe Jason.

Hilarious when Johnny leaves the room Jeff says "he's prolly gonna go blank off now" Clay: "he must be so happy" Jackie: "awww". They see him as a simple mind that they are carrying until they kick him to the curb lol. I think he's gonna show a little keyser soze eventually. I can see the dr's now johnny "did these dummies really make a final 5 alliance with me when we basically never talked game until this week when they threw me up like a guinea pig for their benefit only? Thank you for making this game even easier than i had planned." If he just coasts with them then gets discarded like a used condom i'll be very disappointed.

Was his strategy coming in to be nominated every single seek as well? To me, that's not really staying off the radar as pawns go home. You can still lay low but put in some effort at least to build strong bonds with people. For example Vanessa, she's laying low but have formed some tight alliances and hasn't been on the block. Her name is never brought up to be nominated. Even though it's early, there are groups that are very tight. Johnny doesn't do anything and as a result he's pretty much going on the block every week and nobody feels bad about putting him up there. Worst part is he doesn't have anyone go to bat for him either. Not a good strategy if you ask me. We're probably giving him way too much credit tbh, he just appears to be a very simple guy that's kinda awkward to me with not much strategy despite what he claims.

I know. It's because he's good at selling his agenda/manipulating people and talking his way out of bad situations. His job is account executive sales. I can't stand him though. He gives me this d'bag vibe. He's very two-faced and not just game-wise it feels. I mean he talks to Steve like he's his buddy giving life lessons to and loves the kid. Then he sits down in Steve's dental chair(not knowing it's Steve's) and puts Steve towel over him(not knowing again) using it like a blanket. Someone tells him it's Steve's and he whips it off like it was diseased in front of many houseguests with a look of genuine disgust. Again people treating Steve like he's a social disease.

And if he says DUDE one more f'in time i'm gonna lose my mind. I want him to go down hard! He has a chance to win though because he has manipulated Clay, Meg, James and Jackie to trust him implicitly so far. Unless the people that don't trust him get the hoh and take him out before he takes them out.

I think Vanessa has played a solid game so far. I don't say great because her social game is lacking a bit. The other side of the house doesn't really care for her. Not because she's rude but just because she's doesn't talk to too many people. She just stares with her sunglasses on all day(james mentioned that she never takes her sunglasses off). I understand she's doing it because she's afraid to look sketchy, also to not be forced to lie to the other side which could get exposed hurting her credibility. And she prolly doesn't like some of them. I don't like Jackie, Jeff, Becky, Shelli, Clay and maybe Meg because they all seem fake to me. Maybe she sees that too. But when many people in the house feel uncomfortable socializing with you you may be voted out purely because of a popularity contest when deciding to choose between 2 neutral players. Also less likely to form an alliance with you. Jeff said today "Shelli likes all the introvert's of the house" to Clay talking about Vanessa and wanting to get rid of her down the road. And Becky, Jackie, Shelli have bonded while Vanessa is on the outside.

On Johnny, not my favorite strategy either, but forming relationships with others early sometimes can be an early exit as may think you're in an alliance. You can lose the game in week 1(Jace) but you can't win it in week 1. His relationships are shaky but he has time to form them now that he's not on anyone's radar. He said coming in he was looking for just one or 2 people he can trust. Possible he's just a simple mind but it doesn't feel like it. I noticed he was very quick thinking when Clay and Shelli asked him not to use POV on himself he said "we can't do that as we would be exposed as an alliance." A simple mind might say "why?" or "i don't want to just in case." He said the perfect thing in a split second to make them feel "it's best for our alliance" as opposed to him not trusting them. Also Vanessa mentioned she thinks he may have gone to Upenn as opposed to penn state which is really hard to get into.

I found that convo between them very interesting. Audrey showed she is intelligent on this game as she broke down the alliances and who should trust who(align later) pretty damn good. Good impression of Vanessa as well btw lol.

I think she's america's player. What is different now from the past? She started the game 1) creating alliances with everyone. 2) creating chaos lying about everyone even to the detriment of her game. 3) she didn't leave the bed for a very long time except to shower and toilet. 4) she didn't take off her sunglasses the whole time she was in bed.

Very odd behavior, maybe she's crazy? But now since this week started she's out of bed socializing, not wearing the sunglasses, not creating chaos, making sound game decisions. Could it be she was assigned tasks to complete for the 1st eviction week? And now the week is over and she's allowed to play the game task free again?

I haven't watched the show in years so I don't know exactly how AP works, but I would have thought too that we'd know about something like that by now.

Happened to wake up in the middle of the night and turned on the feed (I think about 5 am house time if anyone wants to look it up) and caught a convo Jason was having with a few others. He said Vanessa was the one he least trusted in the house after Audrey, and wants to put them both up if he gets the chance. He pointed out that she stays by herself most of the time and also that she gets called to the DR a lot. Also things like she wears the Duke sweatshirt but says she went to Miami to study law and Berklee for music. And that she runs away a lot from conversations. He thinks Vanessa is AP.

I know what you guys are saying on that. I considered that as well but something is up. Maybe they voted before hand and kept it secret from us? I don't know. If she is we may find out tonight on tv episode as Audrey said last night they will show all her drama tonight. Maybe bb assigned saboteur.

Possible. But it can also just be like Vanessa mentioned in her original meltdown... "it's like in high school in here the way they treat Steve. He tries so hard to fit in and they just make fun of him." So maybe they are the "cool kids" picking on what they perceive as the nerd/loser and don't want his cooties.

I don't know. My mother in law was watching after dark the other day and Jeff and Liz were practicing some stupid cheer for minutes and minutes. You haven't lived till you've sat through that. And people cooking and eating. All very fascinating.
