+1 to whoever said they enjoy the cartel stuff and don't care about the lawyer stuff. at this point it just seems saul pulling pranks on guile is filling spots for the real plot. show should be called better call mike at this point.
I did enjoy that kim scene though.
there was a ton of online chatter about ms kettleman, she was the perhaps the inspiration for that at&t thicc spokesman

but yeah what's lalo gonna do here? maybe grill jimmy again about who helped him, and they figure out who mike is?
or he goes after nacho's dad [for reasons] and mike kills him?
don't think it'd make sense if they find out about the lab
or maybe lalo does and mike kills him
or maybe jimmy/kim help set up lalo's death (lure him into a meeting or whatever)
idk
i don't get the whole going to germany thing, ie having his arc be finding that is super dumb because we know nothing will come of it so that means he somehow finds it then gets stopped before he tells others? i thought it was initially about the innocent getting killed because of it ie showing gus & mike's ruthlessness but now that we're back to it i just hate it
should have been nacho's dad all along for revenge

anyway yeah i bet yelling about how he paralyzed hector and tried to set up lalo won't result in revenge against his dad, they don't seem like the type...
this, when i watched i was like "wtf you idiot"
i mean i get that he wanted to sell his alibi but that was just guaranteeing his father would be slowly tortured to death while having to look at nachos mutilated corpse

Anyone else get the feeling Kim pulling the strings on Jimmy now is setting up a Kim that pulls the strings on Saul in BB?
I can see this season overlapping and Walt/Jesse being just a small part of Jimmy/Kim's storyline while she gives him advice during home discussions ("tell the kid buy a nail salon to wash his money" or "just have Heull lift the cigarettes").
Kim was always there but just wasn't on BB.
this has been a major preoccupation of mine, seeing if kim leaves him because of where he goes in life or if where he goes in life gets her killed, never considered the stay at home consiglieri but then he's all alone in the flashforward scenes

Episodes 4/5 - Who are these people hiding Gus, Mike, and the others? They seem like normal civilians who live in the neighborhood, in which case, I imagine they might have some questions. With a secret passage to their neighbor’s house, it seems like they must be in the game to some degree.
Episode 5 - What is Gus doing in the meth lab? Did he leave his gun on a piece of equipment down there?
Interested to see how Jimmy and Kim screw over Howard now that he is on to them.
those people at gus' house, that's just insane, more liability than a solution i mean they really plotting to contact the hoa over some paint etc etc, just seems really dumb, gus already has more security than ambassadors/govenors etc and this is just some absurd over the top addition that adds several million dollars in burn rate each with while creating a whole slew of liabilities, just beyond stupid and really hate how they are going into the "unlimited evil henchmen who don't fear death" trope
i missed the leaving the gun part but did notice when he no longer had one, hope that wasn't their way of showing dude left the gun, like he would only have access to one

Back to the story though... am I the only one who feels bad for Howard? He's kind of a jerk sure, but doesn't seem like a bad guy. What is the motivation for Jimmy and Kim to want to destroy him so badly? It can't all be just about Sandpiper. Is it just what he represents (privilege and connections and wealth), since Jimmy and Kim had to fight so much harder to succeed?

definitely had some work done in the offseason, or at least the costume director has been giving her pushup bras or inserts and doing a lot more makeup
season 1 would have been filmed 7-8 years ago
season 6

This will destroy Howard's and HMM's reputation and force a quicker settlement.
As a sidenote, the pacing of this show really tilts me sometimes and I wish it would get on with the plot. There's what? 7 episodes left to wrap up the whole pre-BB/during-BB plot, the cartel stuff, and post-BB resolution and yet the show still has slow montages and 10 minute scenes of Mike & Kaylee doing stargazing.
good stuff

Tony Soprano realized there are usually only two ways out of his line of work, in a jail cell or in a box. As a cartel bigwig, it's plausible Lalo could have foreseen the need to fake his own death someday.

far more reasonable than earlier counters
i love chitchatting and thinking lalo, i hate solo homicidal maniac lalo
it just doesn't make sense that such an important and prominent boss would be out there solo doing this stuff all the time - i liked when it was a reaction to the moment but not when it just became what he did every day
nacho deserved a better story arc, loved him, same with lalo
