The season will also be streamed on AMC+ in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.

In certain international markets, like previous seasons, the sixth season will be released on Netflix with episodes available the day after the episodes are broadcast on AMC.

Alan Sepinwall @sepinwall

I'll be recapping #BetterCallSaul again but didn't review s6 because there's little new to say w/o spoilers for a show at this age so consistently executing at such a high level. There are moments in all 4 eps I've seen that made me gasp or cheer. Spoiler: Great show still great!
lets gooooo

In, countdown has begun.

After watching the Jimmy Kimmel bit in the other thread, it got me to thinking. For the roles which aren't being reprised from BB, I wonder how many of them were the actors turning down the opportunity, and how many were the producers not inviting them.

I was told by a friend in Germany that for them the first two episodes drop at midnight (CET) on Netflix, that’s 6PM ET / 3PM PT for anyone who has a VPN that Netflix doesn’t block.

wonder if the first 7 will wrap the main bcs story and the final 6 pick up in present day with cinnabon jimmy making his last stand, or just be a little bit at the end like in bb

some ppl consider cast news to be spoilers so i'll just say that
Spoiler:
the only thing i have seen is that there's 1 minor character who you might expect to appear that apparently won't, due to covid issues. really not a big deal though

would be surprised if we don't see kuby
probably more hank & gomey, etc

prediction time: idk

nacho dying and kim living seems too easy & obv, so maybe the opposite?
though kim being dead doesn't really jive with how bb saul was
and tbh that line in the bcs bb episode (in the desert) implies that nacho is alive, or jimmy thinks he is at least
so yeah who knows

regardless this should be the season of kim, her final form fully unleashed
she'll prob do some absolutely wild **** to howard for no reason lol

nacho's dad seems like an obv sacrifice bunt , but i'm rooting for him to get out
but i mean someone has to die right, and we know jimmy mike gus hector twins tuco bolsa eladio francesca victor tyrus huell hank gomey etc don't yet
lalo prob dies, but who kills him? maybe arya, er i mean kim

I don't think Kim dies but probably ends up in prison for something she does this season. That's my best guess. May see her back in the Gene timeline at some point.

Evil Kim is very unsettling to watch

Spoiler:
Did Lalo kill that farmhouse mom and son he limped to? Why? So no one knows he’s alive? Wouldn’t that be really easy to put together?

not sure why it didn't occur to gus that they might torture nacho to get the truth out of him, was my first thought lol

after the guy shaved he resembled lalo, so maybe he wants ppl to think that's him? idk

Spoiler:
Ah you’re right. That’s what the stuff about the teeth and then later they throw in some line about the dental records matching. Also why the cousin was sad about the random torched corpse.

Yea Nacho living is a huge loose end for Gus. Can’t believe he doesn’t just tell the sicarios to whack him too.

Are we doing spoilers? I dunno.

lalo didn't kill the cousin / abuelita. that sequence just showed how he got the knife and to the dudes sneaking people across the border (the guy driving Lalo there was the cousin)

The cousin was Lalo's supposed corpse, that's why there was the conversation about him shaving, getting his teeth fixed and the dental records matching. He was burned beyond recognition but there was no fire during the shootout

Cartel stuff A+. Lawyering much more interesting than previous seasons. Wish I could just binge it all now.

ah yes...thanks. I could have swore that the guy driving the truck that dropped off lalo was the cousin. I figured lalo just torched one of the assassins to make it look like lalo's body but now I remember the teeth conversation.

Recap of the 2 episodes. What I don't get is why would Gus/Mike want to tip off the cartel with the envelope about Nacho's whereabouts? They should know that the Cartel will torture him to get info on who he is working for. I get wanting Nacho dead, but that doesn't make sense. Also what was going to be the plan with Nacho's dad?

I assume spoilers are fine here. Obviously if you haven't seen the latest you shouldn't be reading this thread at this point anyway.

ok watched it again and bolsa straight up tells gus in their 1st convo that nacho is a rat, everyone is looking for him, and once they get him they'll find out who he was working for

and then gus' masterplan is to give nacho up to them? what

i remember being upset that mike didn't point out "you know we have to get to him first, for OUR benefit right?" when they were talking about it, but it's even worse than that lol

plus gus should obv know this already

My guess is that's why they give Nacho a gun and tell him to just fire it if anyone opens the door, and hope he gets killed in a firefight. Definitely not a well thought out Gus plan we're used to seeing
