Saw an article that BCS is casting for extras in March around Albuquerque. So it looks like filming for S6 is finally about to start.

"AMC Networks chief operating officer Ed Carroll said Friday popular series Better Call Saul will likely return in the first quarter of 2022 after Covid-19 delays.

Production on the final season starts in March. On a conference call to discuss AMC’s financial results for the last three month of 2020, Carroll said he expects to have more clarity next quarter around the return other defining shows like Killing Eve."

They were still working on the finale (episode 13) as of 1/30/22, hopefully they have all other episodes finished.

I doubt episode 13 will air in 2022 anyway and the planned Q1 release of the first part of season 6 probably went out of the window with the Bob Odenkirk incident.

We would certainly have an announcement and trailer by now if the season was supposed to start this month. A couple weeks ago the official twitter announced BCS stars attending Paley Fest in early April. That sounds like a good option to announce a date and trailer. Maybe they'll release 7 episodes this Spring/Summer and the final 6 episodes in early 2023?

Some are speculating the crime scene alphabet letters translate into D(April) and R(18th) for April 18th, which would be a Monday, that is the day it normally airs on. I like it.

Yep April 18th was it.

"On Thursday, AMC announced that the seven-episode Part 1 of “Better Call Saul” Season 6 will premiere on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET. on AMC and AMC Plus. Back-to-back episodes will air that night. Once that first half of the final season has run its course, Part 2 won’t be too far behind, as the final six episodes of “Better Call Saul” will begin rolling out on July 11."
