oh well, at least my hatred of mike remains justified. everyone always acted like he was such a great guy but I always thought he was such complete a pos and I was quite happy when walt dusted him. now I am even happier. screw him and screw his dumbass daughter hope she hits the pole

him not saying a word after the german caught on to what was happening was...just his facial expressions, elite, elite acting.

see, I think they could have done a better job fleshing out the german as some (and I really hate how overused this term is but in this case it should actually be meaningful) asperger type who is just really bad at understanding social situations and hierarchy but has a fixation on his wife.

He said it! he said the thing!

Good episode. only nitpick is that it felt a bit far fetched that the Salamanca guy got to the german before Mike.

Now that the season is over, it's pretty clear to me that there was a big whole in the script and they had to fill that. The german guy served no purpoes, he was there just to delay Gale's arrival, so we got back to the point where we started the season. and that's just bad writing imo. One could say the german started building the lab but I believe Gale would be just as capable.

Lol wut? why is Mike a piece of ****? he couldn't let the guy go, that's just how he does things. that's why he's so respected by Gus. my opinion of him didn't change at all. if this was rpg his alignment would probably be chaotic neutral.

About Nacho, I think we see him walking around at the beginning of the ep.

I'm fine with Werner stuff especially with the payoff being that Mike had to get his hands dirty and isn't the "good" guy he's been made out to be, they're all bad.

The Saul Goodman reveal was great, I would have been fine if they would ended the series there even though there are still some loose ends.

Somebody want to explain to me how did Mike & Gustavo initially meet? Didn't expect Mike to shoot the German dude.

Btw, i didn't even realize that was the season finale, didn't feel like a finale at all.

Well tbf he saw which leaflets Mike picked up and the hotel asked if Mike wanted to speak to Werner and he said no so it doesn't seem too unreasonable that Lalo makes the calls in less time it takes Mike to get to the hotel.

What do you mean? Gus was just showing probable future cook Gale his future place of work, no? He's no constructional engineer.

I think I read that they want to do one more prequel season and maybe another season of what happens after the events of Breaking Bad.

I really loved the season as a whole but absolutely hated the werner plot line.
they have no problem sending all those young reckless workers back and trust they won't say anything but because werner is dumb and wanted to spend a few days with his wife he's now such a threat they have to kill him and deal with the german lawyers and the investigation etc?

it makes zero sense and is just lazy sloppy writing.

also, mike says they're gonna make it look like an accident so what we're just supposed to believe the ppl investigating the "accident" are going to be so ****ing inept they miss a fatal bullet wound?

or are they going to somehow orchestrate an entire investigation that will satisfy the german lawyers and authorities and deal with all those loose ends all rather than believe this guy who hasn't give a single indication that he would want to turn mike in and get him n gus in trouble is going to suddenly have a change of heart because he snuck off for a few days to **** his wife?

it's ****ing idiotic.
if anything the total devotion and loyalty he has to his wife should demonstrate that he's the type of guy who is fiercely loyal to the people he cares about one of which is clearly mike.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

one of the defining characteristics of gus they tried to hammer home was he didn't just act irrationally out of anger, he was logical and restrained and once he trusted someone he was willing to hear them out and not rush to judgement.

What a breath-taking episode of television! Shame on me for complaining, a few eps back.

--I couldn't stop smiling to see Michael McKean back...just a big, dumb smile on my face.

--The look on Kim's face when Jimmy laughed at the "suckers" on the board.

--The shot of two tiny silhouettes against the NM sky at night.

--Banks acting his ASS off in that scene.

--The last shot of Kim, completely diminished.

Also, some interesting stuff from a Behind the Scenes video put out by AMC:

--Jimmy yelling at the high school girl was really Jimmy yelling at his teenage self!

--Jimmy crying in the parking garage immediately after was "Jimmy" dying. No Jimmy left, it's all Saul now.

--Mike vouched for Werner, and lost stature in Gus' eyes...and had to do that horrible thing to regain Gus' trust.

Mike, who had gotten involved with Nacho through his security work, was going to kill Hector. Gus noticed and intervened.

Just started BCS season 3. There is something about the first episode (Mabel) that is bugging me.

So Mike finds at the end of season 2 a note on his car saying 'dont' when he tries to kill Salamanca. He then goes to some graveyard and turns his car upside down and he finds the tracker inside the gas cap. He takes the tracker home and puts it in his other car (not the beige one but the black classic one).
Later he runs down the battery of the tracker and waits till some guy (presumably Gus, but no spoilers please) comes and picks the tracker up. My question is: how does this guy not immediately realize he has been played. Doesn't he see that the tracker is in the wrong car, not in the beige car where he left the note but in the black one.

I tried to search this on google but came up empty. What am I missing?
