More interesting than Richard Harrow?

I don't watch much tv any more (I'm just now getting around to Justified, for crying out loud), so I'm not nearly qualified to say this: McKean's performance of that character is one of the best tv series performances I've ever seen.
Al Bundy for me.

/hot take

(Speaking of great performances and BrBa, if you haven't seen Bryan Cranston in "Last Flag Flying", you should fix that, and soon. He was so good, and that movie was terrific. Carrell and Fishburn kicked ass in this, as well.)
chuck was a good character, but aint got nothing on al co*ksucker squidgen.

Pretty cool that the "Donate" button below Huell's pics takes you to a NW LA food bank.

Tomorrow nights episode is 78 minutes!! I trust Vince Gilligan ain’t on some Kurt Sutter **** so it won’t be a bunch of pointless filler!!!

Thoroughly bored at this point. The pace has slowed to a crawl.

They've been telegraphing from the first season that Jimmy will ruin Kim's career so I think we'll see that take place soon with the kinds of things they're up to.

Ok, so still probably not that soon unless you think Nacho had been dead for four years but was still somehow relevant to that conversation.

Pretty sure Kim is ruining her own career.

I'm so confused about the entire Kim storyline. Why is she acting this way and suddenly wants to become Jimmy 2.0? If this has somehow been explained, I sure have missed it. To me she just seems completely irrational for no apparent reason.

You are not paying attention. She finds grifting thrilling and is bored out of her skull in banking law.

She was always into playing these grifting games with him, like in the bar. The interest isn't out of nowhere. And this season also has developed her boredom with banking law and interest in finding creative ways for criminals to get off.

Nah, Kim is a badly underwritten character with no depth or nuance, and very little in-show logic to explain her actions.

Her actions are perfectly explained in the two previous posts and the show had episode dedicated to it not to mention many many other scenes. You might not like the rationale but it’s clear as day.

"She finds grifting thrilling and is bored out of her skull in banking law" isn't the description of a well-written character with depth. It's barely a sketch. Saturday morning cartoons have more fully developed characters.

That bit actually felt a little out of place to me upon reflection. They did that scam because it was necessary to get Huell off without him jumping bail. It was a means to an end. She says "Let's do it again" as if they're just gonna go looking for a scam for the sake of scamming. It felt off imo (which is why I think the 'end' is VERY near for her)

Let's go back to the scene where Kim got up under the covers and she was wearing a top and pants. It was really jarring and took me completely out of the scene.

For a show that prides itself on attention to detail, I thought they dropped the ball here. I can't believe so many of you here give this scene a pass while criticizing the most minute and preposterous plot points of the show.

Agree with the above that this season is moving at a snail's pace. Usually I don't mind a slow paced show with character development and build but this is ridiculous.
