--Opening was phenomenal.
--Kim tanking the Mesa Verde deal is huge.
--Wondering who the guy in the Denver airport parking lot was, and why he was later found to be unacceptable, was cool.
--Jimmy seeing the carnage he inflicted upon innocent Howard, being torn, and ultimately deciding he DGAF--coupled with his dismissal of psychiatry on a sample size of "one"--was a devastating 1-2 punch.
--But there were no killings, no shoot-outs, no car accidents. A mere street mugging was no match for 2+2's bloodlust. Standing up to a biker gang, alone, late at night, when all the street-smart people head for the hills at the mere sound of their approach, is just a ho-hum transaction--as is lying to your girlfriend, the only person in your life who ever believed in you, is currently supporting you emotionally and financially, and is a wonderful person (easily the purest person on the show), and for what? to sell burner phones on street? You want to risk this relationship, wreck all trust, over fun 'n games nonsense??? You're a sick person, and flushing the shrink's number is making the wrong choice at an enormous fork in the road of a lifetime.
But nobody got whacked, so nothing happened on The Sopranos tonight.
