This show WILL deliver, so hike up your skirt, grab your balls, and come along for the ride or GTFO.
But it already has delivered. I mean Jimmy changed some documents, made a commercial AND um, wore a hat! And this is in just three short seasons!

I don't think it's a bad show but it needs to start get going by fourth (yeah fourth) season, otherwise it's simply gonna test people's patience, possibly even some of the BB fanboys who feel BB & any other show connected to it is simply immune to criticism, imho.

In BB doesn't Saul say something like "It wasn't me it was Ignacio"? So Nacho may possibly survive BCS

I was bothered by this too, considering Gus is a Machiavellian genius with every angle covered, I found it pretty inconsistent with his character.

I 100% hope we are finished with chuck and his character, im ready to see more investment and BB type action going on with saul. chuck storyline is great, good acting. but IM finished with it. its run its course. lets get invovled and really start meshing into the BB storyline.

Maybe its just me becuse I enjoyed BB, and think its phenomneal with strong ties and I compare it to this, but I start wanting to see some overlaps or getting closer to the BB saga, I hope season 4 we really start seing mike, gus' and the like involvements and s5 is when we only have like 2 seasons left.

I hope this entire season is Chuck and Jimmy in a hospital room talking through their problems and healing physically and emotionally.

It seems to be pretty clear that Chuck is dead and is unlikely to have left Jimmy anything in his will. The fallout from that will take up a couple episodes and then Mile is likely to get Jimmy involved in the Gus/Mike/Nacho/Hector storyline

It opens with Chuck unconscious in the hospital and then shifts to an alt reality spinoff, Chuck Dreamland.

I’d like to see that, but is there any indication it will be that way? I’d think it’s way more likely they keep the style and pace of the first 3 seasons at least until the second half a their final season.

I would be extremely surprised if Jimmy’s storyline for at least the first 3-5 episodes of season 4 won’t focus on the Chuck fallout.

Gilligan has said that S4 will be much darker than the first three.

An entire season flashback of Chuck's daily struggles living without proper lighting.

Just finished catching up with this on Netflix. Feel like Mike’s transition from “I don’t want to get my hands dirty if I can help it” type to basically a murder machine in BB is more interesting than Jimmy/Saul. Maybe just because it’s less fleshed out and leaves you wanting more.
I still don’t get how they’re going to just let Jimmy change his name with zero repercussions and keep being a lawyer in the same small area. Like won’t be court staff and prosecutors they show him with know who he is?

On that note, my prediction is that Mike kills Nacho before the end of the series.

I re-subb'd netflix for AD but then caught S2 and 3 of BCS .... whoa. I was pretty critical of Season 1, but loved 2 and 3... was I wrong or did it get markedly better? Tight writing, I thought.

Did you expect to watch some breaking bad and got disappointment from that ?
If yes you were wrong.

I m in the camp that think BCS is even better than breaking bad.

I think I saw somewhere that the 1st episode of BCS had like 7 mil views and then it dropped to like 1.5 mil from there on out. People thought they would see BB and a lot went away. Their loss.

I'm not gonna get into that debate.

Not so much "expect" as ... I just didn't really like it. Maybe some of that was tinted by BB's pace. I watched all of S1 and then dropped it, but this last week I binged S2 &3 and was blown away. Maybe just distance from BB helped me see it anew, but I do think the second season really got into character development that made you care about the characters.

Loved the ending of S3. Chuck drops a bomb and immediately regresses from his reclaimed throne. ... some scenes did go on a bit long, but in general I didn't mind. The "Chuck Destroys House" scene was great, as was watching him go out in public.

First episode was close to 7 million, 2nd episode 3.5 million and the first season ended at 2.5 million. Dropped to ~1.5 mil and stayed around that in season 3.

Obviously a steeper drop than most successful shows, but some drop is expected. For comparison, first episode of the Roseanne reboot was at 18.5 mil (live, live+7 added another 9 million) and the last couple episodes of the season where around 10 million plus ~5 mil +7.

Designated Survivor went from 10mil to 5mil at the end of season 1 to 3.5 at the end of season 2 before getting canceled.

I also picked it up again 2 years after i finished s1. But i really wasn't blown away by s2 and 3. Its a good show, but it probably wont even make my top10. There are some amazing moments/episodes though, first one that comes to mind is the court episode in season 3. Some scenes are really way to long.

I'm temped to go back and re-watch S1, at least some of it. ... there were a lot of things I liked a lot about S2 and S3 ... but just in general, I think the writers were able to make almost everyone look like a good person, sympathetic, at some point.

Top 10? Who knows. TV got so f'ing good in the last decade, who even knows. I still tell people Northern Exposure was one of the all-time great TV shows but that's like another era compared to what we've got now.

Don't forget, folks: TV really sucked, only 20 or so years ago. Now it seems everything is at least well-made.

I'm not really on board with the "Scenes are too long" criticism. Are there some long scenes? For sure, but there are very few I can name off the top of my head that didnt have coherent and tight scripting in them, and the quiet moments are very artistic and necessary when they hit.
