i also get quite tired of thinking "what is he doing right now? oh, guess i'll find out in like 10 minutes", but now they've taken it a step further with chuck hatching this little revenge plot and the stupid scene with ernie. there was absolutely nothing incriminating or useful at all on that tape recorder that ernie would have heard, yet he looks terrified and chuck is freaking out about how YOU CAN'T TELL ANYBODY, ZOMG. ernie walks out and now chuck is smiling like he's such a brilliant manipulator, BUT WHAT IS HE UP TO?!!??!? i just find myself rolling my eyes like "oh boy, this **** again?" and i prepare myself to learn nothing for the rest of the episode while they segue their way into the same cut and paste mystery formula with mike
i get it, you want to be suspenseful and what not, but there's a point where the show moves so slowly that it just becomes obnoxious
In the last episode of S2 Mike set out to kill Hector Salamanca in the desert. While he's setting up the shot, someone left a stick wedged against his steering wheel (against his horn) with a note "DON'T"
Seemed pretty obvious he was trying to find out how he was tracked and then get to the source of the note.
On Chuck setting the tape to play for Ernesto. Ernesto lied for Jimmy when he turned up at the copy shop after Chuck collapsed. Ernesto is obviously going to tell Jimmy about the presence of the tape, sending Slippin' Jimmy into motion.
Thus setting the groundwork for the season to come.
My only problem with the show is the long hiatus between seasons
