I don't know what you don't get here. The laundry facility doesn't come with a state of the art meth production lab. That was something Gus/ Lydia build new after they acquire the property and have a front running.
Of course it didn't come with a lab. When Walt came in the first time, the lab hadn't been used, though; all the equipment was in the shrink wrap.

I missed what Dynasty pointed out above about Gale & Gus's relationship. I guess Gale was setting up the lab, or had set up one before and this was a better version when Walt came along.

Thanks for the clarification, guys.

Yeah, that DID NOT look like coffee at all.
05-18-2017 , 01:45 AM
Not coffee.

We need an app to figure it out

My initial assumption was coffee, also because of Beverly Hills Cop, but that did not look anything like coffee to me.

It was not hot dog.

I haven't really been watching this whole season, but can somebody tell me the significance of the hand cut in the sewing machine?
05-18-2017 , 07:31 AM
I think it was just to show how distracted he was by his thoughts and reminding viewers about his bionic hand from the first episode.

1 - He has a lot on his mind.
2 - He's a bad ass who can take a needle in the hand without flinching.

That was just on the skin on the edge. I saw this for real at my brother in laws upholstery shop one day. His top sewing guy somehow got his thumb under the needle and it went thru the bone!

Blood everywhere and off to the hospital he went. He would have flinched if that was the case. lol

When I was a dumb curious kid I was playing around with a stapler and had a staple go right into my thumb. I've never experience so much pain in my life, hurts like a *****. I'm feeling dizzy thinking about it right now.

Hmm, that's funny because I once managed to shoot a 16d nail through my hand right between the two metacarpals for the index and middle finger. It didn't hurt a bit, even taking it back out wasn't hardly anything.

I did something similar...didn't hurt much at all. But stick something in your finger and you will cry like a baby. A lot more sensitive nerve endings there.

Looked like coffee to me. What else would it be?
05-18-2017 , 04:20 PM
It looked like the rub I just bought, Grill Master brand.

How did they not have Nacho sew himself to the fabric?

Look like some chili powder to me.

Chili powder or cinnamon were my guesses.

Coffee ground espresso-fine can look like that.

Mike doing Fram oil filter commercials now. Anyone else see that? Just played as a commercial on one of the youtube vids I was watching.

loooooooooooool this is the FIRST thing I thought of when I saw that scene! How weird.

I saw that movie again a couple of years ago and thought how dumb it was that the cops would need to have that explained to them.
05-19-2017 , 01:01 PM
it wouldnt even work tho. dogs could easily pick out the drug smell despite the coffee.
05-19-2017 , 01:17 PM
I had no idea that it was BHC that taught us that trick.

Btw, that movie does NOT hold up at all.

You guys know what else was first in Beverly Hills Cop, right?
