That's PR babble. Those numbers are highly misleading. You'll have to wait for tonight's episode's ratings to have a real idea of where it's headed ratings wise. Some of those numbers are just going to be leak over from the massive return of The Walking Dead with the droolers not changing the channel. Regardless, it would have to have a massive crash to be in any kind of trouble, and with the Breaking Bad fan base there's no chance of that.

AMC should keep this on Sunday nights following Walking Dead. Going from the Walking Dead to anything will make the latter seem like amazing television.

I thought it was pretty meh but good enough to watch another episode. I have not seen Breaking Bad, does this show build off of that?

I guess I should be saving all these episodes on my DVR so I can re-watch during the break between seasons.

Loved it loved it loved it. I agree it has the hue of BB with they way it's shot.

I was intrigued about what the deal is with Chuck McGill.....was leaning towards some sort of agoraphobia but saw this on another site about his condition...not really a spoiler but just in case:

Spoiler:
It’s a disease called Idiopathic Environmental Intolerance Attributed to Electromagnetic Fields (IEI-EMF), more commonly known as Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS).

Unfortunately for sufferers of this disease, it doesn’t seem to exist. People who believe themselves to have EHS report a wide range of symptoms that they believe are caused by exposure to radio, Wi-Fi, and other electromagnetic waves. Some even move to remote towns for relief. But studies have shown again and again that a link between electromagnetism and the symptoms is nonexistent (hence the “attributed” in the disease name).

Chuck McGill is the victim of a neuropsychological disorder similar to Morgellons. It’s unclear whether Jimmy McGill believes his brother’s disease is real or not. But Saul does seem to understand that the likelihood of Chuck McGill beating his disease is very slim.

There's no point in watching this show if you haven't watched Breaking Bad.

Also, did anyone else notice when Saul drops off the guys at the hospital that he has a new windshield with a bunch of pieces of blue tape just like WW always had.

Right before jimmy hits the skater in Ep1 I was deadset certain he was going to drive past Walts house. Was scanning the driveways in the background so intensely I almost sh** myself when the skater jumped out.

Thumbs up for ep1, can't wait to watch 2 and see more of TUCO!!!

Is this for sure? Strange. It felt more like a brain tumor or something where he was buying into some holistic electromagnetic cause or something. To build a law firm that successful, it would have to be fairly recent in the past few years or something, yet Saul seems resigned to the fact that he's never going to be right. I assumed the firm was waiting/stalling out his death.

Love the feel of the show so far. Wish I would have waited and been able to marathon it.

I thought the show was quite good...better than the early episodes of Breaking Bad. I wasn't a big fan of BB in the first season. Though it's hard to imagine someone watching this without seeing BB. Much of the interest comes from contrasting Jimmy McGill with what we know about Saul in the future.

BTW, What does it mean to ground yourself and how do you do that?
