I don't understand why he gave back the money - there's no way they could prove that they bribed him, given that it was in cash. Even if they didn't have the full million in cash when arrested they could have easily spent it on something so not having the full million doesn't implicate Jimmy at all. He's giving it back because it's the right thing to do...?

I think he gave back the money and is returning the Kettelmans to HHM in an attempt to save Kim's career. She's borderline being fired for losing them as clients.

I strongly disagree with this. I mean, Walter obviously wasn't going to die when you knew they had signed up for more seasons early on in BB. Did that ruin any of the suspense involving his scenes?

There's also plenty of new characters that we can get attached to. The fact that Kim, who is a very likeable character, isn't in BB actually already has me kind of worried about how she's going to end up, for example.

I think that's a stretch. You don't see much of Saul in BrBa outside of his relationship to the main characters. Nothing at all of his social life. Kim could still have been around, gotten married and/or moved away from NM, or whatever. I don't think we can judge anything by the fact that we didn't meet her there.

Yeah absolutely. My point was, since this is a new character the audience cares about, there is still a lot of room to create suspense. Just because we know Saul and Mike will always make it through doesn't mean that the show will inherently be less suspenseful than BB, which is what the poster I replied to seemed to be suggesting.

I loved this episode. Betsy Kettleman is amazingly hot.

I thought the first wanted poster they showed was the nazi leader from the last season of BB...but I'm not sure.

I can only speak for myself and not all women, but Mike is what interests me the most about this show. He was one of my favorite characters in BB.
