How can you reasonably make an informed comparison between a show that consisted of 62 episodes and one that has been on the air for six?

How about we just enjoy the fact that Vince Gilligan & Co. are ridiculously good at television for now and save the arguing for later?

Gilligan and Co being ridiculously good is the exact reason we can make informed comparisons this early. Obv anyone saying BCS>BB right now is obviously insane. Saying the first five eps of BCS>first five eps of BB however is completely defensible.

Is there a single female character, short of Kill Bill's The Bride, that you goddammed misogynists can stomach?

***

Was the bearded guy who roughly bumped into Jimmy in the mens room, the guy from the wanted poster in the open? Loved that opening shot, btw.

***

Also loved that when Jimmy was looking up "Embezzlement" in the law book, the first page he flipped past was "Electricity".

ETA: Speaking of electricity...what was in the boxes he left at Chuck's? It can't be what he says it is--if he was actually booking that much work, he'd know the difference between forms 413 and 513.

From what I heard Gilligan has almost no involvement. Just something he did years ago and after BB was a hit CBS wanted to do it.

Yeah, bearded guy seemed to resemble the guy from the Wanted poster, I also noticed.

I thought Jimmy was just making up a bunch of BS elder law work to make it look like he has more work than he actually does, and can therefore afford his fancy new office. Of course, now it looks like he won't be able to afford it after all.

Yep it was him, I went back to confirm. When they showed the whole board of pics when I 1st watched it, I paused it and was looking at them thinking I would see someone from Breaking Bad on there.

I assumed it was what he said it was, but he intentionally misspoke to make Chuck want to check his work, or complete it for him. I think he is hoping that getting Chuck back into legal work will help cure him.

The last 15-20 minutes of this episode were really good. Especially the final scene of Saul in the office.

Gotta say that Odenkirk is delivering one of the best acting performances I can recall. Saul/Jimmy are the same guy, but so different in many ways and he is walking the line perfectly. I am really blown away.
