Breaking Bad took place over the course of exactly 2 years. How old was Kaylee then? About 6? Yeah, she should be like 2 assuming this show isn't all taking place just a year before Breaking Bad starts.

The former lasted two seasons; the latter, one. You don't need to tackle 50-60 episodes to knock them out.

I was going to watch this tonight, but when my roommate came home saying the same thing, I dropped everything and watched it right away. It wasn't THAT good...but man, it was still awesome.

I wish he would've bought a tampon instead of a maxi pad, though. That was probably what was in the script, but watching him plug a bullet wound with a tampon must cost a lot of SFX money; laying on a maxi, not so much.

I was just saying the same thing today, before watching this latest ep.

I've been really enjoying this show since the beginning and it's inspired me to finally start watching BB, which I'd never seen before despite meaning to forever. I've somehow avoided any major spoilers, but it's been fun seeing everyone's reactions itt to stuff like the appearance of Tuco, having no idea who he was myself, and then later seeing what he turned into in BB. The other day I finally met Saul in BB, which was an interesting moment having only known him as Jimmy up until then, and after watching last night's great episode, by pure coincidence I happened to be up to the BB season 2 finale and none other than Mike shows up! I don't know if it's the optimal way to watch, but it's fun knowing that I'm seeing these characters' first appearances in BB in a different light than everyone who watched the show during it's initial run. On to season 3!

That was San Fran! "Goddamn it Jack, don't you do it! Don't do that for me." What was he expecting to happen stumbling down that stairwell with no bullets?

He was also memorable in Beverly Hills Cop, and a whole mess of other 80s cop movies. I still like him in Airplane!

really fantastic episode.

i know hindsight is 20/20 and all that, but man its amazing to me that there were people who thought this show wouldn't be amazing.

i'm just so glad to have this visual style back, BB n BCS are two of the best looking shows of all time.

lol he was a very good actor and a good character, but god I hated him too. he was always messing everything up then blaming walt for his problems.

Hope the show continues in the direction of this episode. Hopefully we get lots more mike, and Saul starts going more down the shady path more. I agree it was a very good episode, but at this point I think the show is only pretty good and nowhere near great. Find Sauls brother pretty boring and Sauls struggle with making it was a legit lawyer boring at times aswell.

I think the stuff with his brother and struggling to make it as a legit lawyer are simply providing color and context for his eventual full blown conversion from Jimmy to Saul. It reminds me of the middle of S1 of BrBa when they wen through all the cancer desperation with Walter White, except this is 10x more entertaining.

I wish they didn't tell us that the two cops were dead before the execution scene. If I didn't know both of them were dead i'd actually believe Mike was drunk. Still a great scene though, and great ep. I think even if people didn't watch a single episode of the show, they'd still enjoy this a lot just being BrBad fans. Like someone said on Reddit, in a single ep we had more backstory about Mike than during the entire BrBad series.

I don't remember thinking that way the first time I watched bb probably it was more recency bias of the last couple of seasons, but man I hated him always ****ing everything up on my rewatch. Best thing about this show is no skylar and marie.

I think I'm one of the few that loved the 1st season of bb, I absolutely think this season is a lot better so far. I wouldn't be shocked if bcs ends up being better than bb.

Absolutely amazing. The ownage when he clear throated talks back and have his sidestance armed.
