I wanted to like this show, but it falls flat for me. For me, Hader as dramatic lead will take some getting used to, but I think the main issue with the show is the writing.
This is a pretty cool show, I'm surprised there isn't more posts itt. The bald czech guy or whatever he is cracks me. "This arm is bull****" Dude just says the funniest stuff.

I'm still on the fence on this show, but that guy is the best part of the show.
Watched the first four, it exceeded my expectations. Solid show, would also rather have binged it but I'll happily keep watching. It's obviously quite silly but it's very enjoyable.
I think Winklers character is great, him interacting with the Detective is very funny to me. The bald guy is hillarious. I also think it would be better to binge watch.
Overall this is a very entertaining show.
I sometimes wish they'd keep the acting-school part a little shorter and get back to the interesting crime-part of the show (Breaking Bad flashbacks anyone?) but I guess they need to keep some kind of balance to have some kind of payoff from his double-life.
The Chechens are great, too.
I’ve def been digging this show and it’s taking over my #2 spot for looking forward to watching on Sunday from Silicon Valley. Agree Winkler is killing it here
The Czechs are crazy. The fat one has played the villain in the first season of True Detective and currently the lawyer in Billions--totally different roles than his current more funny role. The other one with hair has been on Homeland as late as this season for a small bit.
Bald guy - You're so creepy man, you're so ****ing creepy
Czech bad guy- He killed my brother
Czech bald guy - You need to let that go.
Czech boss - Oh man no one cares, it's so boring, every day you've kiled my brother.

Agree with you on this. I much prefer Barry interacting with Fuchs, the Chechens, and Taylor than the acting class. Winkler is great though and so is the detective.
