That was a great episode. This show has so many great characters, it's sad that it is ending.

As much as I liked the scene if that's how they are ending the whole Jobs being kidnapped by a super powerful organization plotline it is kinda lame

Yeah, not sure what they were thinking. This season is all over the place and it doesn't look like it will end well.

Maybe it's really not the last season? Episode was great but not by banshee standards

I don't understand the direction they chose to take with this season. Banshee was awesome because it was fun and gratuitous with great set-pieces while still having well-developed characters, good acting, and solid writing. This season has not been fun.

The serial killer storyline is terrible, and seems completely out of place in the Banshee universe. The neo-Nazi drama could actually be interesting if the show was continuing, but seems horribly timed with only four episodes left. I'm not at all sold on Dushku's character, and even if she ends up adding something, I still suspect I'd have rather had the remaining time devoted to main characters.

Banshee is a show that is generally extremely re-watchable; if I see a repeat on, I'll often put it on to see if any classic scenes are coming up. Nothing this season has been memorable or would give me any reason to want to see it again. The rescue of Job could have been, but completely lacked the creativity and visceral action of something like the assault on the police station or raid of the military base.

Maybe they can recover, but its very disappointing to see one of my favorite shows - which claimed to be going out on its own terms - take such a bizarre turn in the final season.

Don't they have enough plot lines to wrap up without adding a satanic serial killer plot?

Yeah I assumed the serial killer would be someone we knew. I'm kind of biased against Dushku ever since she managed to be the worst part of her own show. This role seems fine for her so far I guess. It's still fun, but last season it was probably the show I looked forward to most every week.

So is this Hannibal Red Dragon or Banshee I am watching?

Yea I'm also confused why they thought they needed the killer story.

I think this season is messing up in multiple ways

1/ They are taking themselves way more seriously than they used to. It seems like everyone on the show is miserable at the moment. It has a major effect on the atmosphere and I don't enjoy it.

2/ It doesn't seem like a final season at all. They keep wasting time on things that are unimportant in the grand scheme of things and I don't understand why they would do that when they are so close to the end. The story of the "current timeline" is also progressing slowly, not much has happened outside of Rebecca dying and Job being saved.

3/ The action scenes all seem rushed and aren't very memorable when compared to earlier seasons. Did they suffer from large budget cuts or something?

4/ It now seems that the main arc of the final season will be a random unknown serial killer killing Rebecca. What? The show has so many characters with deep history that could be used for the final season. Maybe they will get to that but it doesn't feel like that is what is going to happen with only 4 episodes left and a ton of stuff to get to.

I'm guessing last 4 eps are gonna be awesome with everything rolling together or I'm considering this a 3 season show

The point of the serial killer is to get every single protagonist unhinged i spose....but they already are?

you really get the feeling that they crammed 2 seasons into one now, killer story is in itself a season with hood as sheriff. Esp since rebecca went to become one of the victims. Whilst Job being another season, with neonazi sideplot as sprinkle on the top.

Banshee almost falling outside of the top3 shows i want to watch each week, which is incredible and a first time. However GoT and Silicon Valley did just start.

I don't think this season is the last of Banshee. My prediction is that most of the cast dies and then the new FBI agent becomes sheriff of Banshee.

From the very first episode I have considered Banshee the most entertaining TV of the last few years. Just a constant joyride of thrills, action and excitement. Each character was more of a badass than the next or last.

That said this season kinda sucks. In my mind it has lost all of its mojo. Before, every episode was awesome and ended too soon and I couldn't wait for the next. Right now this season has put me into "don't care" mode.

I do feel we should of had a season for all the flash backs but i have been entertained so far this season.

Well, at least the plot moved forward a little. Still pretty boring and I have no idea what they are trying to do. What was the point of building up this Big Bad nazi leader just to have him be killed in a lame way? Will the guy who killed him (don't remember a name) now go full evil? Or will he **** up the drug shipment and will they introduce the cartel as the next Big Bad guy with 3 episodes left? What the hell is this it's like we are watching some spin off sidestory of the show not the final ****ing season.

At least we got some hints that a Procter vs Hood showdown is still coming.

Seems like there's no way they can wrap everything up satisfactorily with 3 eps left. But at least it's Banshee and we get some awesome over the top violence like the guy being chained to the tree and ripped apart with a truck.

4 episodes in and I am still wondering when this season is actually going to start?

Definitely nowhere near on the same standard as the previous seasons, and these flashbacks keep killing the flow of show imo.

Also, whats with the random serial killer that no one gives a **** about.

I am missing the crazy jaw dropping non-stop action that made the previous seasons epic, hopefully it steps up a gear or two soon.
