This is probably the least ridiculous storyline and one of the most common in the NFL. I'm a Steelers fan and in the past 5 years this storyline played out with Flozell Adams, Willie Colon and James Harrison just going off the top of my head.

What Dule Hill's character said is pretty true, imo - giant bodies are easy to find, but the instincts on the line are really hard/impossible to teach.

The name might give and impression that the show is Entourage v2.0 but people who keep expecting that to happen should definitely look elsewhere. Even the very first episode gave a different vibe; the show isn't exclusively about over the top lifestyle that goes hand-in-hand with celebrity status but rather people trying to re-invent themselves. I'm actually kind of happy that the show took this low-key route, because Entourages "Hey boys, what shall we do this week?" got old fast and had often little-to-no substance.
I'm looking forward to upcoming episodes, but I'm not really feeling the Vernon's and Charles's story-lines right now. Joe on the other hand is probably the best character in the show and hopefully he gets a bigger role as the season progresses.

Really coming around on this show. I prob don't know whose anyone's name is but it's great. -1 point for the rock not whooping any ass yet, but I feel he's getting there

rob corddry is amazing in this show... but it's otherwise pretty weak.

Haven't seen the show yet, but pumped after the trailer. Looks like it could be amazing.

this ep was a significant improvement on the past 2. it's all coming together pretty well now. rob corddry's character showed a couple of flashes last week but until now he was basically ari gold at 5%. now that's up to like 30-35%.

I think the show is just fine, but by reading some reactions to the first few episodes, I don't know what people are expecting or wanting to see. The show is not going to be deep and will have lots of T&A.

First two episodes were fun. I'm down to hang out with the Rock for 30 minutes. This episode not as much, that friend of Vernon's is super annoying and his fight with the Rock was both telegraphed and unconvincing. Oh well. Rob Corddry put in some solid work, at least.

better than TD season 2 so far.

I would surprised if this goes beyond a single season.

it's weird seeing this show classified as a comedy online. i don't really see funny situations or jokes, i mean i do but they're very infrequent; good dramas have as many jokes. that said, i'm still drawn to watch it so they must be doing something right.
but i laughed at corddry macking on 3 girls at once saying 'you can be sister wives'

Ep3 was light years better than 1+2

They could definitely exploit the comedic side of some things more. Like banging his teammates mom.

I like The Rock, Corddry's great, I love football...show isn't working for me so far. I wasn't expect the next Sopranos.

Omar Miller has been the best part of the show and I'm not sure why.

Not great, but anything that brings Toby Zeigler to my TV is okay by me. At least for now....

This show is what it is and is doing a good job of being Entourage-Miami so far. Just turn off your brain, crack a brew w a bro, watch it and high five when naked chicks come on the screen. It doesn't need to be anything more.
