I was a little disturbed the other day when I saw the betting markets for this season. There is someone that is a $2 favourite, which is ridiculous this early in the game, with 18 still out there. Makes me think the result has already been leaked, or taken advantage of by family/friends etc. Wish I hadn't seen it because it makes you think about the edit.

This is interesting! I'd love to know what price they started at and when it came into 2$. Is sportsbet smart enough to sucker people in or has it been leaked?

Epic tribal tonight. Had me on the edge of my seat but I figured Rohan was going home after he gave Poebes his idol. No chance Kat was going to vote anyone other than Rohan.

That was a pretty interesting tribal. Nice work by Phoebe for getting that idol. Andrew needs to stop underestimating his competition. The Vavau five were very close to being outplayed, imo Phoebe was the right choice to vote out but if they were at all unsure about Kat and Kristie's vote it would have been safer to just vote one of those two out.

That was amazing.
They really almost flipped the tribe majority but I guess Kristie is not the sharpest tool the the shed either or she knew that Rohan would screw this up anyway.

They really lied her right to Phoebe's face, looking forward to the aftermath of this tribal.

Good on Phoebe to talk him out of his idol but not enough vote management to make this plan work.

Rohan with the woat move. First he gives his idol away when there's real possibility he's going home and then he votes himself out by voting for Kat for some reason....

phoebe is good at this game. she's had some rough luck.

i don't think you can blame her for roan's vote. i mean you can't expect him to be that stupid. if you're phoebe, there is just no way you can think he is going to lie to you about voting for sue, and then vote someone on your own tribe.

the only two people to vote for roan were on his own tribe.

I really like Phoebe too. I feel like she's messed up quite a bit on her management of Kat, but her awareness of what's going on in the game is top notch.

Andrew is annoying and I hope he'll crash and burn.

Outside of Phoebe I don't think I have a rooting interest. Maybe Nick but that's just because he's good TV.

I don't mind Rohan play if the situation was correct but it clearly wasn't. Your not even at the real merge yet so in this spot I'd just allow Phoebe to be voted out and hope to win a few rounds of safety. This play can only work if the group is super tight which was obvious it wasn't. Plus you can't vote Kat.

playing his idol for phoebe was fine. it was the voting for kat that was unreal. i mean the whole reason for playing his idol for phoebe was so they could vote out a yellow, and make it 4 to 4

I was trying to think of a similar situation from the US version and off the top of my head it was sort of like the tribal where Mike Snow is voted out in Caramoan. I thought it was pretty risky of Vavau to vote for either Rohan or Phoebe. Phoebe's plan would have worked if she'd managed her relationships better. I think she'd have super high win equity in seasons without a tribe swap but I don't think she has the ability to adapt to new situations or form proper relationships quickly.

I really like Andrew's gameplay so far but I think he needs to slow things down and go back to pulling the strings from the background.

Lol even when Phoebe has the idol her old tribe mates want to see it to believe her. I guess i get it. Interesting to see how this tribal plays out.

Giant fist pump when Phoebs found the idol. She'll need to last a few more tribals to make it to the next merge. Doesn't look good though as I don't see Saanaapu losing any challenges. Having that Magician guy Matt on their tribe really helps them a lot. As a magician by trade he's someone who should be good at looking at things outside the box. Great for figuring out puzzles imo.

Would be great if phoebe told the other two girls to vote Andrew so she could throw them under the bus. She could also deny that she has an idol cause she would have definitely used it at the last TC.

i was laughing so hard when phoebe told them she had the idol and they were like "show it to us" "i don't think an idol is in play right now" lol!!!

stupid of phoebe to tell them. she is playing great though, and she has a great chance going forward. if she had kept her mouth shut about the idol she would probably be safe for the next 3 tribals(sue, andrew, and the other red girl)

and kat is sooooooooooooooo bad!! if they had kept rohan it would have been 4 to 4. and i love how she kept saying "im a straight shooter" and last tribal she flat out lied to phoebe's face at tribal. and at tonight's tribal she said "im with vavau" and to phoebe she said "im with you" lol!

I feel like Kat was jealous she wasn't part of the popular kids and just suicided to take out Rohan. Wouldn't even be surprised if she secretly had a thing for him, she seems crazy.

I like Phoebe as well, and I actually think saying she had an idol wasn't a terrible move tbh, especially since she didn't play it. Nobody is going to believe Kat or Christie anyway at this point. Getting Christie to vote Andrew is great because now she is on the chopping block.

Since it's pretty clear Andrew and Craig are going to clash soon, I can definitely see phoebe going far. They'll prob try and use her as a swing vote at some point, she just needs to find out if that happens at final 6, cos if not then she's gonna have to play her idol so she can be the final 5 swing. Interestingly enough, she probably has to get rid of Connor if that happens.

what really sucks for phoebe is she'll never be part of the majority, and she's a known threat.

craig is really stupid to clash with andrew. if vavau can keep their 5 together, they'd have a decent chance as a group to go far post merge, especially with jenna louise. but they're in tatters.

someone from sanaapu has to have a big edge to win the game.
