Liked this episode too, though it was a bit slower than the first two. The demon reminded me of the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth. The worst thing about the show so far is the cop, I hope they do something to improve her character soon.

Yeah the cop seems pretty useless for the story. I don't know why she is in there. We already have a authority figure with Xena. Cop seems like a pointless character that is just taking away screen time from Ash.

Yeah - E4 didn't quite hold up, but it still had its moments. Hopefully this is just a brief speed bump. To my surprise, the Kramer hair sidekick is definitely growing on me.

Anyone still watching? Last episode 'Host' was pretty underwhelming IMO. I hope the show isn't going downhill after such a strong start.

I'll keep watching either way. The episodes fly by in what feels like 10 minutes.

I'd love to this this bring back the half-hour drama format (Adam-12, Dragnet, Rat Patrol, Twilight Zone et al) increasing commercial break lengths have only made the format that much more difficult by further squeezing story time but Ash has shown it works well for a fast paced serial format.

she already was a "villain" to our beloved ash. She was after the book of death for her own gain, rogue operative. Pretty sure she will come back as either a superdeadite type of stuff with her own agenda, or she is now in team deadite but with extra know-how. Like the leader of the deadite army in army of darkness.
