i don't think i got any laughs out of debrie directly, either - and it seemed like she took up a ton of screen time.

just other random things:

tobias's middle name being onyango - more evidence for him being black, and that is also the name of obama's kenyan uncle.

during the cuatro performance of fantastic 4, the thing is dancing terribly out of sync with everyone else. the leading theory is that it was michael in the costume. tobias gave it to buster, but then buster left it at the donkey punch stand after knocking out herbert love and running off (there is a very quick cut to the costume being left on the ground). in the start of episode 1, michael is at the model home regretting a "horrible thing" he had done.

lucille 1 is a world class character

There's also the bit in one of Lindsay's episode where Ron says "A man that reminded her so much of her husband..." or something like that, when she speaks with Mr. Love.

Holy crap that is amazing, I kept thinking throughout the whole thing (no pun intended) that they never confirmed or denied that Michael slept with Lucille 2, but I guess he didn't. Only question is, how did Michael end up in there? There has to be a connection between Argyle telling Tobias that it would cost $700,000 to put on their performance on Broadway and Michael owing Lucille 2 the same amount, right?

I feel like the whole thing (dammit, that wasn't even intentional this time either) is so complex that I can't even remember half of it. I feel like I should remember the reason the $700,000 was important anyway, but I can't even think of why Michael wanted it from Lucille if it wasn't something to do with Tobias' performance. I have to admit I do lose track of a lot of plot threads.

Also it's 2.39am and AD makes my brain hurt enough already.

700k was for sudden valley. Choreographer told Tobias 700k because he was enforcing for Lucille 2 on Michael's debt. Said his aunt would invest it after she was able to collect on a debt (said to Tobias). iirc

It was when chireographer and Lucille 2 ran into Michael coming into a party. They act nice but when Lucille 2 leaves he tells Michael if he doesn't pay he's gonna tap on his face or something. Then taps on his toes and taps away.

Thought that was obvious but it was pretty awesome. One of my favorite call backs!

Maybe it was only obvious because the wall was also one of my favorite bits in s1-3.

Awesome, I missed that the first time around. I love any and all references to people getting Egg's name messed up.

Why did they start calling her egg? I forget.

The "...puts a hard-boiled egg in her mouth and squirts a mayonaise packet in there and swishes it..." which was responsible for one of Michael's best facials expressions in the show.
