I assume we'll get an explanation for Archer's odd WW2 flashbacks at some point. Maybe foreshadowing another comatose dream season 9 or something?

An explanation? He's suffering from PTSD...he was in combat and when he gets in violent situations, he flashes back to similar experiences during WWII.
