Surprised as how fast Paige got involved with the program. She pulled her first undercover operation off seamlessly with the help of a very good disguise. Even Pastor Tim was fooled.

Nice. I'm sure some were bored with the digging, but thought it was a pretty effective scene. Figured that she'd have to kill the one guy we already knew.

I'm still watching! I've been enjoying the season so far. Wondering if Martha's cameo will be a onetime thing just to let us know she's still alive....

Prediction: Paige goes Buffy the Vampire Slayer on someone and Stan starts wondering where she got those skills.

Isn't Paige kinda out of Matthew's league? On a related tangent, do she or Henry have ANY friends? The only place they ever go outside of their house is the library (sure, Henry, you're at the "library" - he's probably at the arcade), or the Beeman's. Maybe she's just completely socially inept?

Got caught up on the new season. It's good but the ongoing Pastor Tim stuff is such a foul ball. How are Philip and Elizabeth not doing what they do with him, and how does he sit around having Paige babysit and not report anything when he has to know his whole family is way past being in mortal danger. Because he kind of likes some of the stuff Marx had to say? That's what they're going with there?

My first thought when we saw martha was that Oleg would somehow flip her to the CIA to get them off his back. But now Stan's move seems like it will take the pressure off.

That's a fair point but I think you'd still feel better about safety if you joined a witness protection program on condition of your testimony. I'm sure the FBI would've been more than happy to make accommodations in a scenario like that during that time.

Watching live. Russian dating game scene had me laughing out loud.

Slow episode last night, one of those set-up pieces, but a lot of interesting implications.

1) Oleg finally figured out that the CIA is going to leave him alone. He's not enjoying his job harassing small-time hustlers. He doesn't like his dad. We have the seemingly inevitable collision with Martha coming up. Not sure where this is heading but it feels like there's a big payoff coming.

2) Philip's son came and went in a flash. Total chekhov's gun here, there's no way they set all that up for nothing.

3) Paige meeting Gabriel is a huge step forward. She's like all-in now.

4) Henry's sudden surge, out of nowhere, his parents are like actually interested in him now, how long before they decide to indoctrinate him as well?

5) Philip is teetering on the edge (again). It seems weird that Gabriel would choose now to retire when the smallest thing might send him into a tailspin. Maybe he's just seeing how Philip reacts?

6) Stan's girlfriend possibly being another Directive S operative seems like a red herring.

7) Elizabeth is liking this dude in Kansas a little TOO much. Understandable, not a lot of guys were into munching carpet in the 80s.

Disagree. It's most likely the Center that was pushing for Paige to join and he didn't really have the power to push back, especially with Claudia still around. He's out now and finally has the ability to say something.

is this the last season? i thought i had heard that before, but it doesn't seem like its trying to wrap anything up.

There will be another season. only 10 eps tho.

It seemed like he was irritated by Phil's question about stan's girlfriend (and the implication that Gabriel/the center have trust issues), but on the other hand Gabriel isn't the type to get SHOOK by such an obvious question.

Regardless, it was a major dick move to blurt that out right as the door was closing.
