The "I have no idea who you are" comment by Kara actually works with Siobahn. I don't understand why she doesn't just sing rock stuff. Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men and Whitney Houston had a lot of really awful songs, stop ****ing singing this slow r&b ****. She should do "Wanted Dead or Alive" imo, would kill.

you guys rememeber when I said Simon was going on and on about how great Lee was, and once it got down to the top 10 and he was on tour, he would tell him how awful he was after doing what he always does (kinda of like Megan last year)

well i was almost right. instead, it was Casey. The new title holder of the one trick pony. he was boring, and they FINALLY called him out on being average and just standing there and doing the same thing week in and week out

I dunno, crying during your song has to be a big negative. But even with that super lame/weird moment, she was still the best. I liked Lee and Sioban a lot tonight too. I thought aaron was the worst.

meh, it was at the end. it wasn't liek she started bawling in the middle and couldn't finish. at this point i will pretty much be shocked if crystal doesn't win.

quick wrap up. lee was pretty solid, i though simoan was great.

I really want Siobhan to do well, but for the last couple of weeks I've suspected that she doesn't do well in the low and middle range (of course she is awesome in the high range).

Tonight I listened close and she seems to have volume (I know that is not the right word) problems in the low range, and she often sounds nasally (sp). I'm worried that she may not have the range I though she had.

Crystal was great, and I don't get the love for Aaron. His voice is as annoying as Didi's was, just in a different way.

One other thought, can people tell me why the contestants are not picking songs that lead up to some point with energy. I don't know enough about music to explain what I mean, but a song like I'm Feeling Good (that Lambert did) or I Will Always Love You (Whiitney Houston),,,, or Cornell's Billy Jean, or Get the Party Started (Pink) or a song that kind of build up to a peak, settles back and then peaks again at the end (Not suggesting that anyone should try any of the above, but they are examples of song that have some points to show your stuff).

I keep seeing the contentants pick songs that don't lead up to a moment where they could strut their stuff. What is with that??

A song like "I'm Feeling Good" would seem perfect for Siohban, but not sure now if she has the low end to pull it off.

I was completely shocked by crystal's performance on so many levels. on one hand i'm really irked that she's apparently a bible bumper and so her song choice turned me off. on the other hand she just reaffirms week after week that she's just such a pure talented amazing singer..and the crying at the end doesn't bother me, in fact it makes me empathize with her. she and lee have overtaken siobhan as my favorits cuz siobhan, while still better than the judges are giving her credit for lately, isn't picking as good songs as she did in the first 4 weeks.

btw maybe it's just me but i got chills during lee's performance. i know he's more...sloppy? a singer than crystal is but i really like his tone or idk there's just something about his voice/singing that i love.
