I don't disagree.
will you agree all three of them, along with Katelyn, were fighting for the same votes? The fact that Didi did really well last week was bad news for one of those two, I just didn't think it would be bad for both.
Compare AI to MLB all star voting. Say the starting line up, 9 players, is like making the top 12 on Idol.
Would you agree that the starting 9 players in 1 league are not always the best 9 players in the league in that first half of the season?
Just think of it like Crystal, Lilly, and Didi; they are all 1B
Say Paige is; C
Say Katie is; LF
You could argue, and be right, that all 3 of the 1B are better than the starting C, or LF, but, you can only have so many 1B on the team.
The way american votes, the votes get divided up for many reasons. Young/old, black/white, girl/boy(top 12 and beyond)
The fact that Dide/Katelyn/Crystal/ and Lilly are all white girls, who aren't super young, puts them all in competition vs. each other. Maybe ppl who voted for Lilly last week thought Didi was really good, and voted for her instead.
The people that voted for Paige last week will vote for her no matter what, that much is obvious.
So back to the analogy, Paige might not be better than Didi or Lilly or katelyn, but what she has going for her, she is the best black female left (ie best C)
This is just a pattern I've seen emerge over the last 5 years on Idol.
Young/girl votes = Katie
Young/boy votes = Tim/Aaron bye Alex
Older/girl = Chrystal bye lilly
older/boy = good bye Lee soon enough cause of Casey
black/guy = mike was great bye todrick
black/girl = paige was awful but, no one to take her votes.
if she makes the top 8=9, eventually her base won't be able to keep up with the frontrunners.
