That Big Mike pimping was easily the most shameless and disgusting in the history of Idol. You have to be kidding me. lol @ him being a successful recording artist and I don't think he's even a particularly good singer in the context of Idol. That segment made me want to puke.

Genie in a Bottle coming from Andrew is just kind of creepy. That song only works if you're a hot young chick imo.

Yeah as much as I want to see him make top 12 I'm having a hard time seeing him get in there. The people that needed to bomb tonight, or at least get unfavorable reviews from the judges didn't. Tim Urban unfortunately sang well enough and appeals to enough teenage white girls to be able to make it into the top 12. Everyone's starting to like Alex, Todrick got praised enough where he might get a spot now.

It's pretty disappointing because obv Garcia had straight up in hollywood week which wowed everyone and sang adele chasing pavements well too and was a favorite coming into the top 24 and most had him as a lock for top 12. All he needed was one great performance out of 3 to be a shoe-in for the top 12 imo. I still truly believe he got shortchanged by the judges on FOB - Sugar we're going down because they were expecting epicness out the gate. That was a top 3 performance of that night imo.

James Morrison - you give me something he should have done acoustic. Pitchy and just a w/e performance but he hit the notes well at the end. He knew he needed to do something unexpected and just do something to wow everyone this week but it was just the wrong song to do. He sang it well at the end like Ellen said but unfortunately the first half was pretty lackluster. Unfortunately he never gets the "you sang it well in parts" from any of the judges but Ellen. I have to say I'm kinda let down cause an epic performance was promised for tonight and I was more confident than not that he would do something to at least get favorable reviews from the judges. Sucks too cause if he makes top 12 with his fan base all he really needs to do is not have the absolute worst performance of the night for several weeks to stick around. Ah well.

Actually I thought he was amazing. The beginning wasn't great but by the middle and end it was pretty much perfect

I can't stand any of the judges, but that performance mike just gave was incredible. Especially in a season where generally everyone is weak, and I get bored watching. That brought me back in. Mike is 2 for 2 the last two weeks.

Please let Tim go home, please. I feel they went way easy on him because he's so terrible that his below average performance was really really good for his standards.

I'm honestly having a hard time evaluating the actual performance after the cartoonish praise from the judges. It was probably good but it's just so obvious that the judges are trying to turn him into another Ruben and hype up a guy (or a black) contender that I think I'm starting to hate Mike by proxy.

6 guys are better than all the girls not named Siobhan and Crystal, and those 6 are average at best.

I think I'll just check back in a bit when Siobhan, Crystal, Casey (with the teeny girl and grandma vote) and Mike are in the final 4. Hopefully Didi will "warble" her way out of the show soon.

Big Mike was good, but I didn't find it worthy of that over the top praise. No where near best of the season like Simon said.

I thought Kara was a good judge last year, but this year she sucks. She wants Simon's penis so bad it's ridiculous. He's engaged, she's married, you're on national TV, show some class. Now she's crying after the Big Mike performance? KTFO.

None of them are that good. Big Mike was the best of the night, but still not fantastic. Todrick was pretty good. The rest were somewhere between awful and okay.

LOL the judges loving Tim totally butcher one of the best song ever written. I hope Cohen sues immediately!

Lee - now does everyone understand what i'm talking about. this cat sucks balls, alot. He can't sing. Lol at the word Earth in this performance. Judged loved it, shocking.

Now, I like the tone of his voice, but his range is garbage. Also, he can't hold notes. It's just so bad.


I can't wait to see him sing after Siobhan sings.

Whoever pegged this guy as a one trick pony is spot on. Sure, it was a nice cover, and he sang it pretty well. But it was boring.

Honestly, all 3 of his top 24 performances have sounded the same. The Fallout Boy song was better than this song, but they are all in the same vein. Guitar/acoustic/coffee shop free permormance.
