I'm not his biggest fan or anything, but hating that guy seems really weird. He seems to be an all around decent dude.

the problem is that no one is really attractive AND talented this year.

Didi is so hot, but is just above average. Same for Casey.

I guess the only one that could be considered cute and really good singers are Alex on one side, and Siobhan on the other.

There are no Carrie Underwood's in the field this year.

But, you make a good point about attractiveness. If Melinda looked like Siobhan, and not Shrek, she is a wire to wire S6 winner.

Ruben, Fantasia, Taylor Hicks.

I don't think being attractive is a prerequisite at all. It's not like Jordin Sparks + Kelly Clarkson were knockouts either.

Who said you were wrong? You just post too much. You also have a really annoying posting style that involves way too many lines and spaces. This wouldn't really be a big deal if you posted mostly one-liners, but you don't.

Is anyone else watching this show with a pvr? Imo it's the only way to do it these days. I'm just listening to around 30 secs of each song max, fast forward to Simon's comments and move on. I end up finishing a 2 hr show in about 20-30 mins. Idol is so bad these days that I first check out this thread and then fast forward to what you guys think are good performances and skip the rest.

Idol is almost unwatchable lately.

its actually kind of funny, whoever is masochistic enough to watch it live and make very fast moves on the market has a pretty big advantage... but I think I'd rather give up about 50% of my EV than do that.
