No one's freaking out. There's just no way that Tim deserved to stay ahead of Joe based on last night. And that's really all we have to go on at this point. I realize neither is going to do anything long term, but you'd still like to give the people who performed better the opportunity to continue and possibly surprise.

I'm not terribly surprised that Eddie Munster did not get as many votes as RJ (Prison Break). RJ is adorable and the voters are the family and friends of the singers, a bunch of teenage girls, and the mentally ill vote for the worst people.

The girl with the fence post teeth and the lips reminds me of those caricatures with the mouths that take up half the face. And the lisp, man, you can hear it when she sings. Ugh.

I'm surprised Haley was safe. I don't know. I find her voice difficult to listen to ...it sounds kinda whiny to me.

Really surprised that Janell and Ashley got voted off. While I didn't think they were THAT great vocally, I figured they were hot enough to get some votes. But having said that, it's probably more likely that young girls vote than guys...

Which I guess makes sense as to the guy eliminations. I thought Joe was reallly good and I couldn't believe that Tim got to stay over him. I think Joe thought he was a sure thing when he was up against Tim. I like Tim's dbag look, but vocally he was so bad that I didn't think his looks would be enough to carry him through.

I am GLADDDD Tyler got voted off! Cannot stand him whatsoever. But I was surprised that Alex got to stay over him. Alex's performanced seemed sooo awkward and choppy, and he just looked strange. I actually like his voice though.

Sad that Janell is gone. I thought she had great potential aside from being hot.

Take last year, Alexis gets eliminated 12th, even though she was the second best female singer left. Why, because the judges went crazy over Megan. Then two weeks later, after an identical performance, Simon brings the hammer down.


If somehow Alexis survived top 12 week, she could have been top 4-5. Alas.


I voted my one vote for Lacey because I figured she would need it, and she's decent.
