Bowersox reminds me of a female David Cook. Great vocals, great musician. If she can just put it all together, she has a real chance at winning this. Way more than Tim Tebow's g/f or Toddrick, both of which have no shot.

Why do people keep saying Toddrick and Janell have no shot? Janell is very attractive and of the few times we've seen her sing has a good voice. Toddrick isn't all that vocally gifted but I have a feeling he will be creative in his performances.

Toddick is gonna be like Blake Lewis if anything. He will be exciting to watch, and his overall persona will mask the fact he isn't a great singer.

However, if he makes the top 6 or 7, and the line up is Katie Stevens, the other black kid that looks like Toddrick, Bowersox, Didi, and Garcia, Toddrick is gonna get stomped.


He might not make it that far since the guy he is competing for votes with is much better vocally than he is.


I feel Toddrick will make the top 12, but he has no chance of winning. Same with Janell, sure she's pretty, but when you have 4-5 girls that can just flat out outsing you, that doesn't matter.


Now, if Janell can put it all together and sing reasonably well, then I might change my mind, but based on all of the songs I've seen by her, i'm not impressed

the guys - i think andrew garcia, todrick hall and casey james are excellent. the young kid who forgot the words has a really good voice if he can hold it together. i am jealous of the looks and body of that dude who got put in at the last minute.

the girls - bowersox is excellent obviously. her performance of 'natural woman' was as good as mcphee's. tebow's girl is hot. kinda interested in siobhan. on average i don't think the girls are anywhere near as talented as the guys but generally i'm just evaluating how hot they are and not really listening.

speaking of which, i am disappointed barney chick, southern chick tasha, and nerdy glasses chick didn't make it.



edit - also i'm surprised at how few people in america know how to pronounce 'siobhan'. i first observed this recently in an unrelated context, and now i'm seeing it everywhere on idol boards.

It's hilarious that anyone thinks that Todrick has a chance in this thing. He is the worst singer left and will get a bunch of hate once everyone hears about him scamming everyone (true or not, this will hurt him).
