I reallllllly don't like Sinatra (or any of the 'standards') so this week did nothing for me. I thought Lee would fall o his face but this was his best week yet. Big Mike sang well too. The others were no good.

LOL I LOATHE the judges and this show. They are pimping the worst person in the history of show.

I wanted her to win really bad. I thought her high range was awesome.

She has projection problems in the low range and is nasally in the low to mid range. In the High range she is almost as good as Lambert.

I am saying this as a fan of hers. But, after many chances in the last few weeks she just proved she could sing a "whole" song.

She is not even close to being in the top 15 of all-time best voices on Idol. I was hoping she was the female version of Lambert, but no luck.

That said, she may have the most upside of all contestants this year if she can really work at her craft. Right now she is not that great.

What is next week. Benny Goodman. Or themes from the 1920s.

I'm guessing with the placement of this particular theme, the powers that be wanted more diversity in their final three than Sox, Lee, and Casey. A given that this week would not suit Casey at all, but should result in performances for Aaron and Mike that might give them a shot at advancing. I was sick of 'Mike's sappy love song performed fairly well' back about the time he didn't have enough votes to advance and got saved. I've been sick of watching Aaron dance like he's on a stick being rotated back and forth for longer than I've been sick of Mike. Casey's performance was not as good as these other two mokes. Could mean he goes home, but the voting public will decide...so Sox could go home and I wouldn't be terribly surprised.

Harry seems too cool for this show. And I like the show.

If this happens I'll side bet the ratings for the remaining eps plummet!

Pretty impressive that Harry Connick Jr. took the time to put together arrangements for each song. None of them were that bad - the contestants were.

I was thinking how many contestant problems would be avoided on a weekly basis if they had a mentor seriously help with arrangements, then I realized half the mentors would be clueless.

I disagree with all of you. I loved the show and think everyone was awesome this week except Casey.

- The arrangements were all amazing
- Crystal didn't get enough credit, but I agree with Simon that she needs to step up her game
- I hate Mike but he nailed it. Same for Aaron, but I don't hate him quite as much
- Casey gtfo

Glad Harry was on the show to at least make it somehow interesting.

Snoozefest overall, Lee was decent i guess, didn't care for anyone else at all.

crystals perormance was flawless for that style and was technically far better than everyone else even if it didnt transcend the genre like some of the others did which will make them more appealing to the AI demographic.

It really doesnt matter who wins, Crystal will be more successful than all of them combined regardless.
