Yet again, you fail to understand that it doesn't matter how Lee compares to any of these people from past seasons. It doesn't matter how anyone from this season compares to other-season contestants. They aren't competing against each other at the moment. Lee's only concern is how he compares to the remaining contestants this season. Later on, if/when he signs a deal and decides on a certain genre of music, he can then worry about competing with artists from past seasons for sales. FWIW, you could stand on an NYC street corner all day and not meet a person who could name a single song from Michael Johns, or two from David Cook.

Seems odd then that you'd spend so much time firing off opinions (often stated as "fact") on a public forum.

this doesn't make Lee a good singer, it makes him the best singer out of a weak group.

I agree he doesn't need to be better than Cook to win AI9, but that doesn't change the fact that Lee is at best an average singer.

I really think that Tim was better than Aaron and Andrew overall. Tim had a few epic bad songs, but he actually had some good ones. the two A's have been boring/bad every week

Took about two minutes to fast forward the entire episode to get to the results and then of course they ran about 25 minutes long so I didn't even get to see the stunning conclusion on tv.

I was a huge Siobhan fan early, but with every speech she gives after a song I fall further off the wagon. She seems remarkably dumb when she speaks.

As bad as George Lopez's comedy bit was, it was all worth it to hear him call Kara "Karla" after talking about how she was such a great guest on his show.

I think I read that they have the top 12 under contract. There was a guy a few seasons ago that quit right before the top 12 b/c he didn't want to sign on to their label. I'm not sure he's done anything since, so gg guy.
