to be fair, Tim has been middle of the pack the last three weeks. He's been worlds better than Aaron. Aaron has a stronger voice but he's a nerd, and he's going to sell 0 records once he goes home 6th or 7th

Tim has been better than Aaron, but Aaron sucks so for me its basically whatever. Tim will be around for a while, since thats how this show works. In a "perfect" world, the finals will be Lee vs Crystal, but I don't see that actually occurring here.

Every note in a song has a correct frequency or pitch. Being pitchy means a lot of your notes are slightly out of tune - your voice is missing the pitches. All trained musicians understand this.

I think Tim is more like Anoop from last year. Everyone loves him, he can sing ballads pretty well, but he isn't going to win.

Look at the field in season 7. Many people have said Michael Johns would win this year, and he finished 7-8. Same with Brooke White. And, the two David's ran away with it that year.

I mean, it's cool if you hate Archuleta because he's a religious kid who seems kinda weird, but he's one of the best technical singers that Idol has ever had. Saying Cook is >>> him is just wrong.

no by suck i meant i dont really enjoy their voice or tone... i can still agree they are very talented though. again.... my opinion of someone doesnt equate to their actual talent.... looking forward to your predictions next week.

we are talking about as a contestant on Idol

Cook IS >>>>> Archie in terms of being a performer, and doing things people actually liked to hear on stage.

Archie might be the best pure singer on the show, def. top five, along with ppl like Clay.

The more I re-watch old performances, the more clear it becomes that the gap between Crystal and everyone else is enormous.

That's a really bad analogy. If I only think Aaron's vocals are a little better than Casey's and Casey's a much better performer, then of course I'm going to want to see Casey.

My whole point was that Archuleta's vocals were far enough better than Cook's to make up for any gap in performing ability.

Aside from Clay and Reuben and DA, who on Idol has more pure singing ability than David Cook? I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm just asking who you think is a better singer? I'm talking about the males only.

Some of the notes he hits at the end of ABMB is similar to Siohban, but he hits then, and the whole song is on pitch, unlike simoan.

I pretty much hated everytime DA sang, but I can say he's easily one of the top five vocalist ever on the show.

I didn't mind the tone of her voice so much, it's just that her delivery was so robotic. And when someone programmed that head bobbing into her software that was the last straw for me.

Mike has a good singing voice, he just sings ballads way too often so his songs are sappy and boring.
