Man. Siobhan's studio version is almost as bad as the live one. Just rewatched it on youtube for the first time too and it's worse than I remembered. Yikes. Had to turn it off.

Didi's sudio version is wayyy better than her live performance imo. Man..her voice is so dope, she can really convey an emotion when she sings and make you feel it. F u Tim.

I listened to them all. Mike's studio version is fantastic. Didi's is a goddamn mess, losing the country vibe was smart though it still ended up terrible. Overall I prefer the live version from almost all of them. I don't know what's wrong with the studio versions but they always sound mehh. Not enough time to mix stuff I'm guessing.

Meh..maybe I just really like Didi's voice. I didn't think her performance on tuesday was good but I didn't think it was as horrendous as everyone else thought. I actually thought the first half was pretty good then she just bombed the 2nd half. I guess it's one of those things where her voice sounds so good to me that even when she's not great it's still not that bad..like Lee with his pitch problems, his overall vocal is able to overcome his pitchyness.

eta: wtf @ Andrew's studio version. Loool why in the world did they use the original beat? So bad...his live performance was 100 times better.

Who's more well suited for Beatles' songs than Didi? I mean I can't picture big mike or katie exactly in their element. Who knows Didi could have bombed again but I think there was a good chance she'd give a really strong performance had she stuck around. Very very sick beat for her to leave 1 week before the lennon-mccartney songbook almost as sick as Alex not making top 12 when if he does he has a legit top 5 shot. Didi could have catapulted herself back in the running next week.

lol not a chance. she couldnt even decide if she wanted to use that annoying tone or not. This girl is far from even close to the level of performer lee and (lol not this week) siobhan are.....crystal is so far above even those two that you could give Didi a month to work on a song and Crystal a night and Crystal is going to murder her every single time.

Yeah, I mean obviously Didi shouldn't have been eliminated this early but she also had zero shot of winning so I don't have a problem with it.

Don't think her tone was ever annoying, and don't see how she's so unprofessional. If you listen to some of her pre idol recordings they're pretty polished and there's also a lot of potential there. Oh and I went back and listened to every single Jimmy Ruffins WBOTBH covers and Didi's studio verson smashes everyone's ainec, with the exception of joan osborne's... and why do people keep saying "who cares they had no shot at winning". Why the heck do you care you wins or how far someone gets unless there's a person in particular you're rooting for (i.e. me for Andrew)? As a viewer wouldn't you just like to see a better show? Didi was capable of a very strong performance next week that we''ll now miss out on, tim is not capable of anything half decent next week.

pre idol performances that have been practiced for more than a week cant really be compared to this imo. i thought it was pretty obvious shed go home after listening to it again.

to be fair, she killed it during auditions. it's way different on a stage in front of 1000 people and on TV in front of something like 30 million.

I think Didi was good, I had her going out 6th, not 9th. I wish others would have gone before her, but that's Idol. There are only 4 people that can win right now, and she wasn't one of them.

As of right now, I would say Crystal, siobhan, lee and big mike are the only legitimate picks to win this year.

Didi will probably put out a good album and sell a bunch. She is really pretty afterall.

Actually I just remembered Didi doing that "thing" with her voice. I almost hate that thing. I like when she sings like she did on that last song... What becomes of the *******earted... that was nice imo.

i agree the few notes she actally sang on key were nice.
