i listen to most stuff, with the exception of rap, and most new pop, ie Lady Gaga, and the two female performers on the results shows this past week. It's all 3 chord/no lyrics garbage. Like Katy Perry.

I agree Lee's no Cook or Daughtry. However, everyone this season is like a pale imitation of a previous contestant (with the possible exception of Crystal), so I think he's still got a shot to win.

I've said in the thread that he has a decent voice, and he seems like a cool guy. I also said if he was a lead singer in a cover band playing stuff like Nickelback and such, he would be amazing.

However, he isn't good enough to win AI, and he won't win.

When comparing him to David Cook, he is garbage.

When comparing him to all of America, he's in the top 1-2% of singers, that's the difference.

I like Lee, he's just not good enough to win

I imagine this is becoming more of a lock each season as time passes, becasue virtually everyone good enough to show talent deep into the competition would have tried out already during a previous season.

This is not exactly going out on a limb. Last year, the champ, the final 3, and 4 of the final 5 were white males. Prior year, the final two were both males. I'm not saying the show is rigged but I imagine somewhere there's a measure in place to make sure the final few contestants end up including someone dark, and some people without schlongs
