its strange i love the girl but something is off when she is singing within the normal range.

it is when she goes high that i love her voice.

it's like she has this nasal, flat, not-so-pleasant quality to her voice during the normal range.

I think she's started off too low a few times and struggled briefly but got it right each time before transitioning. Needs to work on that. A few years, maybe even months, of training with a top notch coach and I think she would be flawless over a huge range.

I think Siobhan sounds almost... like a deaf person when she sings in her range. It's not a bad thing, per se, but it just sounds a bit strange to me. I like her a little bit more after she did that weird thing when she put her glasses on - where she squinted as though she couldn't see. LOL

i don't think that'll be the top three obv, but one of those three have a decent shot at joining siobhan and crystal in the eventual top three. prob just as much as casey and didi. there's still a good ways to go and i think a lot of these guys and girls are gonna step it up. or we can only hope at least. haha

is it new this season that the contestants can sing anything they want for a chance at a save? i thought that last season they could only reprise their performance from the previous night. this of course means we'll see andrew sing straight up again if he is in danger soon.

re: AI band

they are a collection of the greatest musician from around the country, and maybe the world. They learn 24 songs a week (in the top 24 week) and each song is unique to the person performing, since it's only 90 second clips from each song. They do this week in and week out, remaining awesome, and really, just never screwing up.

I think for them to play a song they learned two weeks ago on the spot will be one of the easiest things they will ever do in their lifetime.

they have a song already picked in case they get voted off. The band knows each of those songs and so are ready to play them.

+1 on the band being phenomenal.
